JstAnotherSub -> That's not cute, it indicates insanity! (5/24/2012 2:16:15 PM)

So, when does the sometimes forgetfulness of getting a bit older quit being cute and become an inpatient kind of thing?

Days like today, I seriously wonder if the 70's are seriously biting me in the ass, or the brain.

Ah yes, senior moments ... which seem to be increasing rapidly.

The 70s bit everyone in the ass. Natural cellular degeneration bit your brain.

Most of the fun shit accelerates the degeneration process. Don't that figure?

At least once a day by my estimation.

Just call me Lucy Ricardo and promise to be my Ricky and I'll call it good. (And if you fell for that, you might be having one of those moments, but I'll take you anyway.)

I'd say it's a problem when you walk into the bathroom and can't figure out why you're there....[;)]

HA! I never forget why I am there, I am just thankful I made it yanno.

^^^^^
You beat me to it. The Man and I race to see who gets it first. I swear half the time he just goes on the lawn as he doesn't think he'll make it.

I have to write notes to myself to remember things....like things I want to look up online and things I have to put on my grocery list...I never had to do that before!

I was seriously considering your post...but then I forgot what you were saying.

I was halfway through teaching algebra to a bunch of 13 year olds yesterday and halfway through a sentence I not only forgot what I was going to say next, but I also forgot what I just said!

Thank goodness for teaching assistants who actually listen to the crap I spout [:D]

I am always wondering that. It seems the older I get the more forgetful I become. The last year or so it feels like it's getting worse and it concerns me. I used to try to write it off as stress but I dunno.

Seriously, I write lists for lists lol. Most days I have no idea if I took my meds or not 5 minutes after I've taken them. If you ask me the next day about anything I did the day before and I can tell you with certainty that I don't know. I was studying for finals last week, looked at answers and a second after trying to remember them I'd already forgotten them.

When I was having a lot of memory problems and mental clarity issues, I found that Green Magma helped right away. I can no longer use it because of a gluten issue, but I swear by that stuff. I noticed a difference by the second dose. I miss my magic Green Magma!

Forgetfulness is apparently associated with perimenopausal/menopausal stuff (as well as some common medications).

Fuck that, I'm too young for menopause.

Peri-menopause can begin 15 years before. [;)]
