So let me see, if we summarize all we have learned it goes like this:

1. Douche your ass so you are nice and clean
2. Lube up with Astroglide X, the silicone will literally save your ass. Water based lubes are a no-no because they will come up short in a long session.
3. Do not yell "well smack my ass and call me Sally" when she penetrates you.
4. Bend over and take it like a man . . . well, like a male prisoner or Bubba's cellmate.
5. Plan ahead and make her favorite sandwich out of gratitude and to keep her in a good and forgiving mood.
6. Don't forget the napkins and her favorite beverage with that sandwich. Protocol is important. Food without drinks, napkins or the proper utensils is cause for punishment and she will surely rip you a new one.

Before using a silicone lube, be certain her strapon dildo isn't also made of silicone...I read somewhere that silicone lube will mess up a silicone toy.

My advice? Buy diffeent lubes and put some on a finger and insert your finger in your anus. This is just to get some lube up there, to see if you have any problems with the lube. My boy's ass goes on fire in a bad way with almost every lube we have tried. Silicone has been okay, but as for the water soluble ones...all of them hurt him and so I just use (be prepared to laugh) Crisco. LOL.

I don't use a strapon on him yet, but an attachment on our Hitachi. At this time, I prefer a hands on approach for ass play most of the time, and the Hitachi only some of the time. I need to bookmark this page.  My thanks to RS for the summary.  Between that and Cynthia's comments, that's really about what you need to know as the receiver.  A little more if you are the person doing the penetrating, but that's not your end.  Pardon the pun.

As to Cynthia's comment about butt plugs, listen to her about how it's preference and if it's really needed.  There are exceptions to the rule, of course, but most people don't need to be "stretched" to accommodate something the size of a penis.  The body is already made that way.  With the proper stimulation and technique, you'd be surprised what the muscles combined with the sensation of the nerve endings actually do.  If you are in the minority that needs to work up to it over a period of time, look at your options.

Personally, I'm not one of those who would opt for the use of a butt plug during the submissive's own time.  The only fun I get out of that is knowing I gave the command and it was followed through.  That means no sexual play for Me, no fun loosening the partner up Myself, or any of the other stuff I'd like to do.  Isn't the idea of anal to enjoy how tight somebody's ass is?  And that's coming from a chick using a silicone device.  I can only imagine how the male tops see the issue.

Personally I don't get the whole "stretching" notion, either. It's a sphincter (well, two sphincters) and they are meant to open and close. Just let them do their thing.
