Honestly, I think that's something that we each have to define for ourselves. And, even within that, there are some issues that might be tolerated based upon other things, that wouldn't be tolerated in another person.

I am pretty fucking hardcore when it comes to how I define what kind of crazy I can tolerate. I adore, love, wouldn't want to be without, my daughter. But I wouldn't have a slave that has the same issues she does. It just wouldn't work for ME. But it obviously does work just fine for others. I wouldn't fuck them either. I don't want to be responsible for fucking someone up in a bad way. I don't need to fuck bad enough to reap that kind of cost.

The scary kind of crazy where they will put people in danger, I stay far away from. I have kids and their safety always comes first. Back in my younger heavy party days I didn't give a rats ass. I laughed at the guy that was eating his beer can and insisted there was a troll in the mailbox. He was hilarious but now as funny as he was I would not want someone like that around my children. Now I hang with the fun kinda crazy. We get a bit wild now and then but it is all in fun nothing scary.

Sometimes crazy + crazy can be out of control. If the Dominant has some degree of sensibility and the submissive is crazy, it can lead to a functional but wild and fun relationship. Hmm see for me this is an interesting question because I am I suppose technically crazy. I have bi-polar type II disorder. People of my age and older will probably remember it being called Manic Depression more commonly. I'm medicated and no longer suffer the massive highs and lows that coloured my teens and 20's but I still go up and down and I'm still frankly sometimes batshit crazy. That's who I am. Does that make me incapable of being someone someone else could value? Fuck I hope not!

I am mentally ill. I have a mental health disability. I am crazy but I am also loving and caring and try to be as communicative as I can about my mood and how it impacts on me (and therefore potentially on others) from the moment they first contact me. But I'll say this, my last relationship was 3 years and it wasn't my bi-polar that ended it. The one before was 13 and it wasn't bi-polar that killed that. So batshit crazy I may be, but it isn't an excuse for why relationships don't work. Some of us crazy broads are worth the effort.

So true, that's one issue I deal with inwardly with my anxiety, I have fear of illness anxiety and in the past have visited at least six shrinks who all tell me the same thing, your not crazy, but I can't stop you thinking it so I figure I may always think it but I know deep down I'm not, crazy in play? well to an extent but I know where the line needs to be drawn, I wouldn't call myself wild, I'm quiet usually but sometimes like to experiment too.

In response to the girl with bipolar, I really don't see people with bipolar as crazy, I do understand it to a degree, my ex husbands father had it but he seemed to have it under control, oh that was another illness obsession that I had bipolar, again, told a hundred times I don't and the word isn't allowed to be mentioned along with I'm going to have a heart attack or have cancer rofl, it's so stupid when you know you aren't or don;t have these things yet still think them on occasion.

I did date a vanilla guy with schizophrenia once and I had to end it, I was much younger then and omg he did some weird shit like, when it was that time of the month for me he was certain I had a disease and would get violent with me, he also had this odd obsession that he could understand the atoms in the atmosphere? idk, kind of blurred to me now but something like they could tell him people were talking about him, he also would just randomly play with himself in front of other people and nearly destroyed the laundry room once in a fit of violence because he saw a fly in there, scared the crap out of me, my parents ended up coming to get me, he was a severe case I think and wasn't on meds, but I do know I couldn't cope with that, if my Master became mentally ill, yes I would stay with him, we would work together to make sure it was under control just as my anxiety is.

Bipolar isn't crazy (although unmedicated bipolar sure can seem crazy sometimes). Sociopaths are crazy. Multiple personalities where one or more of the personalities are dangerous is crazy.
