I think that by nature submissives are just more prone to piss and moan than are Dominants.

Could it be that some subs subconsciously are compelled to whine in order to broadcast their need to have their ass reddened or whatever else they aren’t getting enough of?

For me, its the assholes who hide behind being submissive.

They're still assholes but trying to play at BDSM to get laid is worse.

I have not met any horrible subs. I have certainly met some that are not a match with me, but they weren't horrible "subs". Now if we are talking about the online profiles I've come accross....there are some doosies there. Like the one who wants to be kidnapped and kept in a closet with no expectations. Or the one who says she's looking for a dom that will modify her body like a zombie. Or the gem who says she wants to be used by a cult as a sex object. Some of them are just silly and without any sense of reason.

One who had an issue with not being the center of attention. She didn't like another woman (an ex-sub) who came by my house to support my business, and explained that to me. I told her that the other sub was my guest and would continue to come. She then did a fake suicide attempt to try to convince me, and got booted from the house, trying to blacken my name in the local community as she went.

Another who I never did meet. She talked with me on the phone for a bit, and we agreed to meet. I suggested a public place to meet, and she countersuggested that she come to my place. I stupidly agreed, whereupon she reported to some previously-unmentioned mentoring couple that I had suggested meeting at my place for the first meet. She told me this, and that she would never meet with me anywhere.

A young woman (early 20s) who was looking for a couple. I referred her to a local couple I knew who were looking for a third. It turned out she had gotten her second DUI and was not sure how to pay off her first one, and that she was still drinking. She also got into fights while drunk (NOT a good thing for someone with a record), and did not remember what she said/did while drunk. I had to apologize a lot to the couple for referring her.

I've had a couple doozies, but the worst of all was the poster child for bad hygiene. When we first met, and also quite a few meetings after that, he'd evidently freshly showered and cleaned up nicely, etc, because he was very presentable and smelled great. Then, shortly after I'd agreed to have a dynamic with him, he just let himself go....horribly.

His personality and a lot of things about him were great, he just smelled horrible. He started smelling like poo poo a lot and I gave him pointers/tips and directions on hygiene, so he could get his shit(haha no pun intended) together. I even wrote them into what I expected of him daily and gave him a copy. After three discussions about that, he still did not comply. I had to let him go because I couldn't stand the smell.

The last straw was, shortly after that last discussion, he left a crap smear on my favorite pink comforter at the end of play. I had a meltdown after he'd left my place and I discovered it and it took forever to get that stain out. Now, I absolutely require good hygiene and I tell a prospective sub that at the very first meeting. He also knows he had better keep it up. Of course, after a long day at work is understandable.

I always avoid rebounds and sometimes the attached ones are geat liars and can be hard to weed out.

But as the wildcat said the majority of "horrible" falls in the submissives side of the court.

As a sub, I find that offensive....nice bike by the way.....I feel the need to come kick your ass.....tell me where you'll be and the date....I'll check with my staff and see if I'm available.

(I have people to see and times that are well prepared in advance....call my people....).

The worst...just one...really?

I've had one break my nose...because he was "scared"

I had one hit me in the face with a hammer....because one day she "changed her mind" about things.

I had one try to kill herself(twice)....because I told her I couldn't have a realationship with her while she was a drunk.

The ex (15 years with him) that then spent three years telling everyone how messed up I was...and he could prove it just because of the kind of sex I took part in (I don't remember him ever bitching when we were together)

Oh, wait...the worst....he wasn't mine but he three different times kidnapped a friends pets and hid them when she pissed him off. He then went out of his way to "find" them for her telling her the whole time that he loved her so much he would do anything in the world to get them back because he knew she loved them. When they finally broke up he took her cat and nail gunned it to her front door. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was the worst.

I haven't had any horrendous subs. I guess the 'worst' was a CD who thought telling me what I should do to him while mincing about in Walmart panties and bras was how it's supposed to be done. He didn't like taking me out to eat, which is de rigueur when you are my partner, but had no qualms about helping himself in my kitchen thus eating me out of house and home. I had him sorted on all accounts with a quickness. I think his cheap-ass underwear is still in the closet somewhere. He looked absolutely ridiculous in it. If there was any chance to view CDing as an acceptable kink to me, he killed it for everybody else.
