ORIGINAL: subrob1967 The anti war swing voters who will flock to Obama despite Libya, Yemen and Syria... Those swing voters? bwahahahahahahaha you're killing me with the comedic analysis. Swing voters... don't they show up to the polls in little yellow buses? I don't get how people can be as uninformed as they are, especially in this day and age. Even if you're like me, and don't watch the American news (because of the fact that it's more entertainment than information based.), there's so much information on everyone's records. Once people did the research, they'd find out how much alike both parties are. I know, I know...I sound like a stereotypical third-party voter, but there's a reason for stereotypes. Swing voters are independents (libertarian generally) that determine the outcome. If you want to assume you are better then them ... defend it. Actually, I am a Libertarian (not a fake "tea party" one). This is just based on my observations. Most of the swing voters I've met, mostly near where I live, are some of the most uninformed (by choice) voters I have ever seen. I take the recent primary in my area on Tuesday as an example. There was a man on the Democratic ballot that had withdrawn from the race a month ago, but was still on the ballot. Thanks to the uninformed voters, the 7th Congressional District democratic results have to go to court. This is because, if the results stand there is a nominee for the Democratic side, if they don't there is a run-off. Again, uninformed voters mucking up the process. I just notice, every election cycle, the swing voters seem to be the most uninformed. Again, it's just an observation of mine. Yes, I come down hard on people who don't care about politics, because this is the future of our freedoms at stake. It's just like people don't care.
