Status: offline 		Seems like only yesterday our strict, fiscally responsible conservative friends out here were lauding the fiscal miracle and laffer curves and the great advancing behemoth, burgeoning  economy and jobs in Ireland, when you simpletonionly rid regulation and taxes and oversight ...........

When I (as a Republican) found out that Gore won (51.5 million votes to 50.5 million or so for Bush), but (Gore) didn't become our Prez.....I stopped voting. Forever. Nationally and locally.

I realized that night, agreeing to whoever won the popular vote and more than happy with the (true) outcome (my team lost....Gore would "now" be Prez....as it should have been)....I haven't voted since.

Gore would have done a fine job (sure as fuck couldn't have done worse than Junior).

To this day I don't see the point in voting.

Anyone that has a reasonable argument as to why I should resume....I'd sure as hell love to hear it.

Status: offline 		I am thinking that this will be the first time in my life that I do not vote. It makes me sad, but, I am tired of trying to choose the lesser of the evils, and I think they are all full of crap in this go around.

So, I got nothing on getting ya to vote again.

Too bad you didn't read the Constitution, and/or history, before voting in the first place.

Status: offline 		Well, all he had to do was see SCOTUS abusing their Federal Power and ignoring the Constitution in what was without question spelled out in the Constituion as a STATES RIGHT ISSUE and not a power delegated to the federal government.

Public Schools taught him that was how it worked before he voted.

Indeed. If the Court had refused the case, citing no jurisdiction, respect for the SC and its decisions would have have been cemented for decades. Instead, it only opened the door to Citizens and further decision revealing it for the partisan tool it's become.

Status: offline 		Which is why I laugh as heartily at these fools that say they want to get back to the constitution, and fiscal responsibility.  And proclaim the 2nd Amendment Power to overthrow the government and haven't shot a goddamn one of those republican justices.
