ORIGINAL: ARIES83 Ive been looking at fetlife for some groups that relate to D/s, M/s, sadism, At the moment, every group I read through has a similar problem, people tend to nit pick and obsess over the wording of peoples posts and no real information is really there, just alot of arguing and bitchiness. If anyone here is a member of a group on fet that they find informative and they would like to recomend it, could you do me a favour and post it here. Im only interested in D/s, sadism, and maybe reading sub discussions, but if there are any really great groups that you think are worth a read id be interested in them aswell -ARIES Haha, welcome to the interwebz, the natural habitat of grammer nazi's and pontificating windbags whom no-one will listen to otherwise (mea culpa). I think of it as a test for ones communication skills, which in praxis, relies, if anything, more heavily on ones ability to listen than than ones irrepressible propensity to run ones yap. So, you can just ignore the static and say whatever the fuck is on your mind, or find those forums dedicated to more primal needs. But seriously, I even have to call bullshit in the fisting forum now and again. For example, in the A.S.S. forum, most of the talk centers around how good it is to get ones ass reamed or to ream another ass, which on the downside, is not always the most clever of conversations, but on the other hand, it's called "A.S.S.", so, like, what exactly did you expect? Honestly, I've just about given up trying to communicate with English majors or college educated types in general, all they see to care about is that everybody knows they got good grades. I have an IQ of like 140, and if I hear, "I like it when dadday fucks my azs it makes me wnt to pss msyelf" - I can really dig, like who gives a fuck about grammer, you go girl! Ok, not the brightest bulb maybe, but damn, you work with what you've got. Anyway, if I had a degree, it would have to be in communications, and the first rule of communication is to establish a rapport, get on the same damn page, even if it's the back page. If you're just outgrouping people who you imagine don't live up to your lofty standards in penmanship, IMO, you're missing some good shit, and maybe even a chance to get to know somebody who has vastly more experience in life than you, and might even teach you thing or Two. Unfortunately, that is the current state of our culture, the whole narcissistic "winners and losers" thing that is so tedious in ways very few people born after 1980 can comprehend, get over yourself. I mean, we all have our personal standards, but do do you really have to bust someones balls to have standards? I mean a helpful hint, ok, it's a complex language, if you are clever enough to use the word "moot", I will offer up that "mute" is a different word entirely, but I think I can do that in one sentence without hijacking the whole thread in redundant, tedious, and interminable posts.
