FP: I kinda had to laugh reading your post. Yup, the orientation could probably have been less time, BUT... I have never had a job or class that didn't have a long and often redundant orientation. Such is life. In the long run, it will be worth it for you. Not to "piss in your milk", but there are many more orientations to come. Even if you become a volunteer.... there is an orientation, and it will probably be the same scenario. I am a nurse, every single job I have had has included as part of the orientation Infection Control, Blood Born Pathogens and patient abuse/confidentiality.After 29 years I could give the class myself. It's never anything new. But it is all part of the game, so I just follow along and grin and bear it. I'm glad to see you are taking this step. You won't regret it and you deserve a big congrats for doing it. Be proud of yourself. mbmbn
