It is true that Obama was never vetted, especially in comparison to how every GOP candidate is thoroughly checked out by the mainstream media

Hell, they even fabricate things to make them appear to be problematic, as in Rathergate or the recent MSNBC edit scandal

One comment I found particularly striking (under the article linked to above)

Is bullshit, his granfather Stanley is white, not Kenyan, and wasnt tortured by the british, and is only mentioned in a photo in the article.
His Kenyan Grandfather died in 1979, 33 years ago. Now Im sorry but interviewing anyone who knew states he knew his life story as fact is about as likely as tits on a bull.
There are no records in kenya he states, so its all circumstantial and how relevant?

As for our 2nd Amendment rights...What are the chances of our government being taken over by some tyrannical government?? Can only happen if we the people vote that government into office and we get the government we deserve.

I have never done street drugs and I don't care who has. In all honesty, I believe most currently illegal substances should be decriminalized, even though I would still have in inclination to use them.

The nephew is coming out of prison in a few months, after serving 3+ years of a five for 2 pounds possession of weed.

How he is still bright and forward looking after all that is beyond me. Maybe because it was a federal prison, where the majority of his mates were former business people and two former prosecutors, one of them his roomie for most of the time.

I'm not saying he is ready for political office yet, but he sure is well equipped now to work for any politician, any party.

He doesn't drink or smoke, safe to say.
