It seems that all too many of you are confusing grilling with BBQ. For shame, for shame! BBQ I do off and on, year round. Low and slow. I have yet to do my famous 'rack of ribs' yet this summer but it will happen, no doubt. Pork and chicken are my fav's for BBQ. Now grilling......a whole nother animal. We grill A LOT. Doesn't take much to toss some charcoals in the Weber and fire it up. Throw in some apple wood chips for flavour. I often cook several meals worth at a time. I can cook nearly anything on the grill. I have a great pan, with lots of little holes, for small stuff. Works great for veggies. Fruity desserts are awesome on the grill. Especially with cheese. One of these years, when the flagstone terrace is finished, I will begin the stone grill, fireplace, oven.
