Simply the word "slut" on it's own, to me, means that one either enjoys lots of sex or sex with lots of people.
Of course, in context it means plenty of other things. I thouroughly enjoy being called a slut when we're in the bedroom, along with other names.

I admit when I was younger, yup I was a slut. I would fuck as many men as I wanted, slept around, got a reputation, etc....so yeah, I was a slut by the very definition of it. Was I proud of it? Not at all. But at that time I didn't care because most of the time I was drunk and/or hurting on the inside.

These days though I can say I'm definitely not a slut even if I'm on a bdsm site for the simple fact that for me M/s is a lot more than just sex. Sex is just part of our normal, monogamous relationship.

littlewonder I agree. I don't dig the term at all when directed at me but it's ok if some women want to use it I don't judge it but I don't ever want to use it even in a sexual way towards myself it's demeaning in the place that I am now monogamous and in a committed relationship.

A high sex drive, a craving for sex in what ever forn it comes. And they would would be the "reciever/bottom/submissive.

That's not to say Master doesn't call me "slut". He likes the word for me because he knows I will do anything for him no matter how degrading or humiliating...but it's for him and him alone.

To me it means they are using a term which is overused and has lost its original meaning, and the fact that this question has come up means that those who use the term might do well to define his or her term better.

The funny thing is, in my plays, I've been called slut so much that after reading this, jolts me lol.

As far as to answering the OP's question goes.....

As a sub, when I see Dommes that post words calling subs "sluts", "whores", "piggies", ect, as a personal challenge if they are regaurding them to hopeful submissives.

I then look past those words, and (for a few minutes) look into if I would have the chance to corretly serve the Domme. If the answer is yes, then I start conversation.....

....all the while knowing, I do think a little higher of myself than those "terms of endearment". Therefore, I put my energies to please them into proving I am better than being a "slut".

Generally enjoying sex, and sex positive. Or, they're banking off the negative connotations e.g. being a dirty little slut.

Words for enjoying sex, having lots of it, having multiple partners... There are supposedly about 220 for women; 1 of which is positive(Sex kitten). In my crowd, people seem to be trying to add slut to that short list of positive descriptors lately.
