Recently, I have become addicted to Netflix. I have discovered several UK shows that I really enjoyed and watched every available episode of each.

Can someone tell me if the following shows are still being produced, so that I can keep an eye on Netflix for new episodes being released?

MI-5
Kingdom
Ultraviolet

and of course, Dr. Who!!

Dr Who Series 7 (they count since the reboot, not the original) is currently in production, along with the traditional featurette length X-mass special.

Hmmph. Using IMDB, it appears MI-5 is no longer, either.

Fuck me. Neither is Ultraviolet.

(sorry, it never occurred to me to use IMDB.com to search these out until I looked for the links to share.....*sigh*)

Have you watched Luther yet?

There are 2 seasons so far. Idris Elba plys the main character.

Edit to add: It was created by a writer for MI5.


I liked MidSommer Murders; something about the contrast of these grisly murders against the backdrop of the bucolic English countryside.

oh yeah, for those of you who like Dr. WHo and Torchwood, if you haven't seen them yet, Eureka is a fun show, as is Warehouse 13!!

There are only 2 seasons of Luther with one more on the way (and talks about a big screen movie).

Midsomer Murders made us giggle... but that hasnt been in production for years, has it?

Did you see the first two series of Being Human? The third is a travesty, hmph. Prehistoric, the dinosaur one...I think that's what it's called. Oh and the first series of Hex has some lovely lovely men...

I love Dr Who. I have every episode. I have the whole original series on DVD. And I have been buying the new series after each season. So I have them all except the last session.

I have a nice Dungeon with a large screen TV. I can offer you a captive audience while you watch LOL!

I loved "waking the dead"... not sure if you can get it on netflix tho...9 seasons and I adored it.. Bedlam season 1 was great for Theo James and the supernatural fun n games, and season 2 is being shown now.
DrWho will be back at christmas I heart...I <3 David Tennant And have beeen a fan since I was four of the whole Dr who magic.
Love TOrchwood and would love to play with Cpn Jack n James Marsters yummmmy
Eureka and warehouse 13 are well worth watchng. The christmas specials were great:)

Bedlam was cool, though confusing. Maybe I try watching the show instead of multitasking...

We are sad at having to wait another freakin year for another series of Doc Martin. Why are we enchanted with that show? Yet we are!

now I havent seen that one, but cornwalll is one of my favourite places in the world and Clunes is fun, he was funny in the new reggie perrin( altho Rossiter was best) so Thank you more stuff I gotta watch:) LOL
