ORIGINAL: Domperformers How exactly do you think you this is going to force health care costs to go higher? More people with health care means that the government isn't on the line for the people who don't have it but can afford it. It means that the people who couldn't previously get preventative care now can which has been proven in every study ever done to lower health care costs over time by reducing expensive procedures that could have been avoided if the problem was detected and treated earlier. You're going to have people who are in college or just entering the work force who would never be able to afford insurance on their own stay on their parents plan which won't put them on the public tit. I can't figure out how people still say that this bill is going to raise costs when every study, and also just plain common sense, proves otherwise. Do your own research, costs have already been forced higher. Read a newspaper on occasion, quit relying on strangers in Internet chat forums to inform you Two hints though, insuring preexisting conditions isnt cheap, nor is extending insurance to grown able bodied adult children
