Your tone about not being an "it" says it all. If not having an identity, i.e., assuming a Masters', is offensive to you, I am sincerely sorry; however, such an ego would preclude you from being a true s, and in my camp, you would be severely corrected!

Fella, get used to the idea that there are other people in this world and that they may not agree with you. I'll admit that I don't know a lot about the gay male subculture, but that degree of objectification to using gender neutral pronouns is uncommon outside of it (and I suspect in it to a lesser degree). And distasteful to some people.

For you to assume that your way is the only true way and that we should all follow your lead is arrogant if you're in the majority. If you're in a fringe minority, it's hysterically inappropriate. That's like an Algerian immigrating to the US, planting a flag and claiming the US as an Algerian territory, and demanding that we adopt the Algerian language and culture.

OsideGirl is owned. Your claim that she's not a true s is an insult to her and her Owner.

Welcome to collarme. I suggest you read, learn, and ask questions to see how the world works outside your apartment.

Delilya -> RE: O Dom is me! (7/4/2012 9:06:36 AM)

Good luck

I actually had to chuckle over his statement Steven. You've got the single guy who is spouting "twue-ness" to someone that has been in the same D/s relationship for 12 1/2 years. I felt like asking him "So, if you're such an expert in how this works, why are you single?"

I'm tempted to do this..... #winning

How do I take the comittment to another level, knowing that I must be the stronger, is by stripping the permanent sub of an identity which would be stronger than mine. I choose to use "it", but if you understand my view, "it" is merely a term, and the relationship is far more complex than that.

If you must strip another of their personal strength to make yourself stronger, then you haven't any strength. To degrade someone so that you rise in stature... is a sign of insecurity, many lacks of various types and a promise of harm to come. (In my opinion.)

Welcome to the forums. It seems you have gotten a real introduction.

Amazing how great minds think alike.  I was basically going to say the same thing.

There really is nothing more entertaining or amusing than a severely insecure man who calls himself dominant so he can feel better about himself.
