June 1, Bond Revoked.

July 7 Bond granted

Which, of course, is irrelevant to the fact that Zimmerman KNEW he had an extra passport BEFORE he lied to his attorney, and caused his attorney to lie to the court, which is clearly indicated by the timeline I had posted.

Which the judge said was nobig deal.

And as we've seen in Diallo, the threatening motion as if towards a weapon counts as Zimmerman's use of force.

Diallo isn't even in the same State so really you're just making wild speculation as to how Florida would consider it. The lawyers I've asked though are certain looking for your cellphone to call police wouldn't count as 'use of force' taking away the right to self defense.

However, if Trayvon was on trial, his defense team could argue that the reaching for the phone put Trayvon in fear justifying his use of force, while not taking away George's right to defend himself.

It's 2 separate issues, but since George is the one being charged, what's relevant is that searching for his phone is not a use of force.

There you go again injecting logic.

Just as a quick question, these legal opinions you're soliciting and parroting, have you paid for them, and if these guys are so fucking smart, what's your problem with properly attributing their professional opinions?

I mean, they don't have anything to hide, do they?

If you disagree, how about asking for some legal opinions yourself.

Raiikun -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 6:26:20 PM)

Oh, and so it turns out:

"The lead Sanford Police investigator who sought manslaughter charges against George Zimmerman told the FBI that a sergeant and two others officers tried to pressure him into making an arrest in the controversial case — even though he didn’t think there was enough evidence."

http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/07/12/2892510/more-evidence-released-in-zimmerman.html

So it turns out the original investigator who everyone kept repeating thought there was enough evidence to charge manslaughter...actually didn't think there was enough evidence.

Why? I'm perfectly capable of doing my own analysis.

Which, I think illustrates the basic difference between us. Again, you seem to have a problem actually attributing these statements, yet you feel compelled to present them in some sort of appeal to authority.

Frankly, it's a waste of everyone's valuable time. We're pretty much in a holding pattern until Zimmerman fucks up again -- or I suppose we can get to trial without Zimmerman fucking up -- but he's not exactly the best at not fucking up, is he?

Serino, yeah. He's the guy who finked on his co-workers, right? I wonder what the real story is there.

A cop finking on other cops. You know, this sorta plays into the whole "George Zimmerman -- Gay 4 Cop" thing....

farglebargle -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 6:35:58 PM)

Again, you're SUPPOSEDLY asking lawyers questions, and we all really want to know:

1) WHO ARE THESE LAWYERS?

and

2) HOW MUCH HAVE YOU PAID THEM TO RENDER THEIR LEGAL OPINION FOR YOUR PUBLIC USE?

Raiikun -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 6:43:13 PM)

I paid nothing to noone, just asked an informal opinion, so I'm not going to post their names on a BDSM messageboard. You're free to not believe me, I don't care.

I'm content to wait until the trial/SYG hearing/whatever, and see if the prosecutor actually brings up his searching for a cell phone as provocation. I'm betting they won't.

mnottertail -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 6:46:27 PM)

Free advice from a necktie is equivalent to free advice from a serial lifer like chuckie manson.

Raiikun -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 7:08:40 PM)

Well, when the question has such an obvious answer as "does searching for your phone to call police surrender your rights to self defense", one wouldn't think one would have to pay that much for a reasonable answer.

mnottertail -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 7:10:39 PM)

Well, when the question has such an obvious answer as "does searching for your phone to call police surrender your rights to self defense"........

Such a question will not be contemplated or tolerated to be argued at trial.

Raiikun -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 7:14:45 PM)

Didn't say it would be. My opinion is it won't even come up at trial, if there even is one.

mnottertail -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 7:15:41 PM)

LOL.  Ever the unrealist.

mnottertail -> RE: George Zimmerman Update... (7/12/2012 7:20:12 PM)

I wonder if Romney and Zimmerman could be co-defendants and save some money.

Sad isn't it that for so long Serino was your proof that Zimmerman was guilty and only held off because of the dark and mysterious forces protect him, and now he is a turncoat cop since he said that they didn't have enough to charge him.

I find that you don't pay anything hard to believe, your girlfriend asks for donations on TalkLeft, and sells blogs. You have to have at least a dozen by now.

OH and from what I am hearing, a SYG hearing would not be in Zimmerman best interests. A SYG hearing would required Zimmerman to testify, he has to convince Judge Lester it was in self-defense, and right now, Zimmerman truthfulness is in the dump.

And a few interesting things. It seems Zimmerman and his mother got into an arguement so Zimmerman turned off the power to his mother home and locked the circuit box, then left. Some say Zimmerman mother abused him as a child. Now there is a new defense to use, forget the self defense one. Then Zimmerman hit is ex-girlfriend for chewing gum. She thinks it the medication, I am incline to agree with her, amphetamine psychosis.

As to the newspaper report on Serino, well there one report that most people think Obama can handle an Alien Invasion better than Romney. And I though all we had to do was yodel.

I'm not a bit surprised. He went from this...

quote:

George Zimmerman was the only member of the Forever Alone Neighborhood Watch he founded all by himself.

There's no Neighborhood Watch there. It's just the cover story Zimmerman used to go peeping in other people's windows, and stalk and kill black kids like they're animals.

to this....

quote:

ORIGINAL: farglebargle

I don't see how you get from the trivial injuries Zimmerman sustained AS HIS ATTACK WAS BEING REPELLED BY HIS VICTIM to Zimmerman being in any sort of danger WHICH HIS OWN MALFEASANCE GOT HIM INTO.

If Zimmerman didn't want to expose himself to any risk or danger, he should have followed directions and stayed in his car. You know, the directions admitted into evidence as part of the Neighborhood Watch handbook. NEVER CONFRONT ANYONE?

See, that's a huge part of the State's case. ZIMMERMAN HAD TRAINING TO AVOID CONFRONTING SUSPECTS. And he went out of his way to act in violation of that training.

That makes it an intentional act. And given the state has a whole lot of evidence of Zimmerman's instability, there's a pattern.

As someone else opined, good thing he got away from the whole "Skinhead" thing. That wouldn't play well at all with a jury. Of course, they're going to see plenty of photos of "Skinhead George", so I don't know if it just comes off as "George is trying to play the Jury again..." You know, because has his own attorney said, Zimmerman doesn't TRUST the court....

Obviously facts don't figure into his rants.
