My mother always told me....(I find this so interesting....) "Honey, the way to a man's heart is not only through his stomach....you have to feed them, then you have to please them (behind closed doors), then feed them again...only then, will you win the heart of a man"....LOLOLOL....Mothers! [8D] Generational thing, perhaps? Any thoughts on that one?[sm=ofcourse.gif] I've never found her wisdom to be true! Grins, Irishbynature IBN

I think Mothers have alot of wisdom, it just takes awhile for that wisdom to catch up to us sometimes. As for feeding a man, yep, I think that works..

First of all, my Mother would NEVER talk about anything taking place behind closed doors !!!!!! <grin> My Mother's advice has been - and always will be - find one at church. (The only unmarried male I've ever seen in church is the priest.)

My grandmothers advice; be a good cook, keep a neat house, never show your ankles in public, when you get behind closed doors forget you are a lady and do what comes natural, let him know you love it and he'll see to it you do. This must have worked, they had 23 children over a 40 year period. My grandpa was a very happy man.

From the male perspective: Make me smile. Make me laugh. Be interested in me, interesting to me, accept me, support me. Make me proud to call you "mine". Do those things, and I won't care overly much if you can cook or not [:)]. But the sex.... umm, yes. [:D] Level

It's funny my mother never told me feed 'em but the day before i got married she told me that men want a lady outside the bedroom and lots of kink inside the bedroom. She said you keep your man happy no need to worry whether they stray. She also told me never tell them no. hhhhmmm i guess i listened for the most part.

My Mom's advice was Be pretty at all times, learn to cook, keep a clean house and always let him think he is right. Dad's advice Learn to take care of yourself, get a good job, save your money and don't listen to your Mother. I took Dad's advice and am much happier for it[:D] ~Lashra

If by generational you mean pretty much every generation of women have been raised with that sort of mindset towards security and relationships for quite a long while- yes it is. It's actually pretty degrading to men as much as it is to women.

LOL) IrishBN There's certainly a modest appeal in the 50's housewife sort of submissive role, but it would wear thin quickly, without more substance. It seems to me that a good partner tends to his/her partner's needs, whatever they may be. The best ones know what to do already.
