Okay. I'm NOT trying to be mean here. When I was a sub, the profiles I was really attracted to were the well-written ones that gave me an idea of who the person really was, his interests('nilla as well as kink), what he wanted out of a dynamic and what he had to offer a sub/slave too. Yes, a dynamic isn't just about one person, it's about both people. Both people have needs and desires and why would someone want to stay if those needs and desires weren't met eventually?
Also, a lot of people are impressed by proper capitalization, punctuation and grammar. I have to admit that I'm one of them. Always have been. So write the essay portion in a word processing program of some sort, send it through the spell-check program and then copy & paste it into your CM profile editing page. Easy peasy.
Another thing: Get a friend or someone you trust who's good with a camera and have him/her take a picture of you that's not so fuzzy. Also make sure there isn't a messy or sloppy background. Subs/slaves are going to look at that and decide whether they want to be cleaning that up all the time. Even as a Domme, I'd reconsider getting involved with someone who was a total slob. A good picture can be a real eye-catcher. I know that my best pictures have been outdoor pictures on a day with good weather.
Also, get out from behind the computer and check out the scene in your local community. If you haven't checked out Fetlife yet, I'd do it. They have a great search function for finding events in your local area. Also from what I can see when I Google it, Memphis has a thriving scene. I've listed some links to get you started.
