For me it was Ronald Reagon. Jimmy Carter made a mess of the military. Inflation was running at around 11%. I bought my first home at that time with interest rates nearing 16 %. Iran was holding Americans hostage . I had faith that things would turn around and they did. I might add, those hostages were released the day Reagon was sworn in.

Bush (junior) lied about WMDs in Iraq. After 4,000+ dead US Soldiers, 25,000+ long term / perament injured soldiers, 100,000+ Civilians 'put to the sword', and over $4 Trillion of borrowed money spent; Republicans never held him accountable or responsible (cus they were in on the conspiracy as well). Notice a difference? Clinton's lie didnt cost anyone their life, limb, or take home pay.

I would agree with that but, I also think that Iran knew that Reagan wasn't going to screw around and they weren't taking any chances.

Hmmmm Regan was exciting. I was in the 3rd grade and even we held elections in the classroom. The most entertaining was when Gore lost. I could almost picture him scratching his head saying I know we stuffed enough ballets in there for me to win. xD the Sore Looserman motto was just too funny.
