I would agree with that but, I also think that Iran knew that Reagan wasn't going to screw around and they weren't taking any chances.

I suppose by that you mean giving them forbidden arms in the trade for hostages.

Wonder who Hillery was doing?

My guess? Nancy Pelosi

Personally, I think Frank Zappa could have made a great President. At least we wouldn't have been surprised by the amount of buttfucking that was going on.

JMO

Bobby Brown.

For me it was Ronald Reagon. Jimmy Carter made a mess of the military. Inflation was running at around 11%. I bought my first home at that time with interest rates nearing 16 %. Iran was holding Americans hostage . I had faith that things would turn around and they did. I might add, those hostages were released the day Reagon was sworn in.

Reagan also, 112 days later did what was later called "Iran Contra"....essentially an arms deal with the Iranians, which was beyond illegal, which couldn't be (technically) "connected" to his "release" of the hostages.

All agreed to before Reagan took office.

Reagan was one of the biggest con artists that ever took the stage and anyone that believes he was some kind of Presidential God....

(Doesn't read).

Obama... and oh man wasn't THAT a disappointment!!! If for no other reason, his stance on "due process" puts him directly in the fascist dictator camp.

I honestly can't recall a single other presidential election where I thought much positive about either candidate.

Ah the mystique. Breathe deep.

Use laughing gas....it'll make things vastly more palatable.

Plus they had to catch Reagan before his nap.

Ya know...I gotta tell you MM...I think most of your stuff is just horseshit....but I have to say....3 out of 10 times, you not only hit the mark....you make me laugh my ass off LOL (in a good way).

Hmmmm Regan was exciting. I was in the 3rd grade and even we held elections in the classroom. The most entertaining was when Gore lost. I could almost picture him scratching his head saying I know we stuffed enough ballets in there for me to win. xD the Sore Looserman motto was just too funny.

Uhmmmm.....Moon....just for the record....Gore didn't run against Reagan.

(Not sure how to close this one out frankly).

Something's just occurred to me:

Does Hinckley rushing Reagan with a gun count as somebody "running for the President"? He was sprinting pretty hard after the secret service clocked him...
