It's only fraudulent if she says sned me $200 and I'll send you whatever - and then doesn't. The few I actually see tend to be of the "send me money, worm" variety. It aint my kink, but it ain't derauding anyone of anything either.

Indeed.

If she's impossibly hot, she's probably not real and just trying to get your wallet.

Wait! Are you saying that all of those 19 year old Dommes who look like fashion models are fake????!!!

Ummmmm, I need to run to the post office and see if I can retrieve the envelopes full of money that I mailed out this morning.

According to your profile "Slavery is not about me and what I want, but rather it is about what my owner wants. I am here to please them and my reward is a job well done." and "As I want real slavery I am open to numerous things. Ideally I hope to be owned in a more traditional sense as real property. I would love to serve in a domestic capacity and spend most of my time doing manual labor for you. I am, however, open to whatever truly pleases you."

Why are you now putting qualifiers on what they should be asking for? If you are not interested in financial domination, then don't contact them. Move on to the next profile. or maybe "gasp" go out and actually meet people in person.

houseboyforu2 - we get this lament every few days so forgive our lack of compassion.

Re: the women you've emailed - does their profile appear to be that of a lifestyle domme and it's not until you've emailed and she's responded that she reaches for your wallet? Or is it bloody obvious by her pictures and text?

When I come across profiles I don't want to see again, I just Hide or Block them.

If the scenario described above isn't the case, I can't understand for the life of me why the OP would be reaching out.
Investigating is an even bigger waste of time and energy.

Dresproperty -> RE: (Potential Scam) Financial Dommes Taking over the Personals (7/12/2012 2:22:38 PM)

Oh my goodness OP~~ nowhere does it state when signing up on the other side that ALL profiles have to pass anyone's standards~~ aside from abiding by the TOS. We are all adults and know how to use the hide/ block/ next buttons. Thanks for your concern to raise the warning alarm though.

MissKittyDeVine -> RE: (Potential Scam) Financial Dommes Taking over the Personals (7/12/2012 3:59:34 PM)

Right, Greedy. You can have the bog-standard Tribble for $50 ... or for $500 you can have this rare Exithonian Grey Tribble (only 1 in 3,000,000,000,000 have this colouring because of a recessive gene).

I am not sure if this is simply limited to the Michigan area, but I have seen a disturbing trend of financial dommes popping up all over the place. What troubles me more is that there is an eerie similarity to all of these profiles. I have emailed a few and gotten very similar responses. In one case two different dommes had exactly the same items on their Amazon wishlists.

I realize that this site is full of fake profiles but this seems to be taking it down another direction towards borderline fraudulent behavior. Is there anyway to report these people or at least look into further.

I did some research on this for you.

It is entirely limited to the Michigan area.

How is it fraudulent? They're being honest and up front about what they expect. It's your choice to enter into an agreement with them or not. Fraudulent would mean they didn't tell you and you didn't know until already pushed into it.

Ya know dude, take responsibility for your choices.

I suppose the difficulty lies in how do you differentiate between people who have a genuine fetish for getting off subs and those who are just trying to make a quick a buck.

Why does there have to be a differentiation? You either want to give money to them or you don't. Your choice. It's not like it's a surprise or hidden from you.

lthrpup -> RE: (Potential Scam) Financial Dommes Taking over the Personals (7/12/2012 7:18:37 PM)

There are plenty of scam profiles. Same verbage, age, details on multiple accounts. Likely in many locations, not just Mich. This website does zero vetting, so you just have to ignore them. Solution: don't send money to anyone.

kalikshama -> RE: (Potential Scam) Financial Dommes Taking over the Personals (7/12/2012 7:20:03 PM)

As it says in the message that comes with every email.

TNDommeK -> RE: (Potential Scam) Financial Dommes Taking over the Personals (7/12/2012 7:48:06 PM)

Lookie, I like your new avi.

OP, have you ran into someone who you sent money to and they didn't hold up their end of the bargain?
