I am wondering if anyone has some experience with keeping a boy in chastity who is an athlete?
I am trying to find something he can wear and move freely in..The CB6000 is horrid in this case.. W/we have tried it.
W/we have looked at silicone ones but I would like some input if anyone has tried this?
Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Miss Aureus,
Would you mind telling us what type of athletics you're referring to? I've gone to the gym wearing a chastity device. I've also ridden a bike, played basketball, run for miles, and swam wearing one.

Different sports cause different levels of problems. But I've found that the problems come in two specific areas; cosmetic and athletic.

By "cosmetic", I mean that the device looks odd and may draw undue attention. For example, if your sub wears Speedos when he swims, or if he rides a bicycle wearing biker shorts, the device will likely look very odd in the tight trunks, and it may cause undue embarrassment to the sub. But when wearing basketball shorts, or baggy swim trunks, there should be no cosmetic concern. At worst, your sub will look like he has a large "package". That's not such a bad problem. Most guys don't mind if those around them think that they are well-endowed.

As far as athletic problems, those will differ by sport. Swimming is a problem because it makes your junk shrink and your balls to pull close to the body. The device may come loose under these circumstances, or it may prevent the scrotum from pulling close like it should. Neither is a good result.

With bike riding, I've found that long rides are VERY uncomfortable wearing a chastity device. Bicycle seats can become uncomfortable anyway during a long ride, but with a device on, it can be unbearable.

I've generally had no problem playing basketball or running wearing a device. However, I would recommend going easy. Don't go all out, and pay attention to any discomfort that you feel.

I've also had no problem using the weights and machines at the gym, playing golf, and tennis. But I'd probably avoid things that require extreme body flexibility like gymnastics.

But I have a more basic question for you. Why not just take off the device when he goes to the gym, and put it back on when he gets home? That would eliminate any potential problems entirely.

Your post has inspired me. I think in the spirit of this year's Olympic games we should have a 'Chastity Olympics' with male subs competing in various athletic events in various forms of chastity.

Which event can I sign you up for, Roch?

What sorts of shirts and ties do you wear when you go swimming, Roch? Or do you tend to throw formality to the wind and wear an open-necked shirt, possibly even non-white?

Tie? Silly man. Everyone knows that swimming requires a full tuxedo and bowtie.

I think I'd definitely medal in the 100 meter dash. And the women could admire my "package" while I'm doing it.

Roch,
Thank you for your reply..
You could best understand it as "doing a marathon" and W/we have tried different ones but they are too rigid and cause real issues with rash and chafing to a degree that it is not so good..
The difficulty W/we have with taking it off and putting it back on is the times when W/we are apart for lengths of time and he feels more secure wearing this as it helps him feel close to Me when W/we are apart. I presently do not leave him in while I'm away..

Ah, I see.

I'm not a marathoner, so I have so suggestions for that sport. But Methinks that the mental chastity device may be the most effective kind in this instance. Have you tried that, or will he masturbate when you're not looking?

Also, tell him to use a lubricant before putting the device on, and to lubricate regularly. That should reduce the chafing.

Have you tried this?

Consider carefully!

In a pinch you can try this

Kidding aside, it really is a matter of what type of athlete he is.

Any device is going to be problematic.

Perhaps instead of a device you could use a ribbon that you've selected? It can have the same mental effect of closeness.

Thank you for bringing this issue up!

I, too, am an "athlete."  I train for and run ultra marathons (also speed work with shorter road races).  My gf and I love chastity, but it is difficult with a 50-60+ mile a week training schedule (especially the speed work required).

I can use a CB6000 (or any of that line of devices) without much trouble for runs under 10 miles or so.  But for anything longer, it becomes a problem of chaffing, annoyance, and reduction in workout intensity (or length).

We have developed a time control!  We use the numbered plastic locks along with a photo for texting (and we even can take a picture of surroundings to ensure where the photo was taken).  In other words, I am "free" during my run, but I must be in immediately before and after.  (also, the Garmin devices will give real times of start and finish).  This ensures security pretty well.  I have to say, when she is on this system - there is no way for me to have access when I'm not running - which I think is what we are all looking for.

If you would like to discuss these matters off a board that seems to have some strange rules, my email is: [email protected]

Let me know if this helped at all!!

TDM
