I often send people one liners but it is to ask them to check out my profile and if interested then please contact me.  Why spill everything or try to sell yourself to someone who may not be interested because of one of your stats.  If they are then I can write and write to boredom.

I don't really consider one-liners rude, they just don't do anything for me in terms of prompting me to respond. I think most the complaints about them aren't really in the department of rudeness, but really as suggestions as to how men can get better responses. AND since men do most of the complaining about not getting responses I guess a lot of women feel they can offer advice.

I would find a one-liner like that to be pretty cold and generic. It would be like reading an advertisement that says "we sell lot's of good stuff, come in and maybe I'll sell you something"

But really, male, female, Dom, sub, no one has a monopoly on denseness.

I seem to be getting a LOT of one-liner introductions from women these days. You know the kind that say something like: "I read your profile and am looking for a sub, so send me all of your information." Now, I know that a guy that does this gets flamed to the ends of the Moon, yet I've noticed that when a woman does it, we really don't say a lot about it.
I've actually never flamed a guy for sending a one liner.   I encourage any man who wants a chance to court the lady who's caught his attention to write more about himself and about what interested him in her profile than one line.
The only one liners are have a huge problem with are the ones that zero in on the sex without first acknowledging the lady with whom they are proposing to have sex (moi).   I block if I find the one liner offensive;  I write back if it is a respectful one liner especially if there is a hint of physical chemistry going on...  But you do what works for yah.   M

littlesarbonn,

I wouldn't worry about it too much. If they're sending that, they haven't read your profile as it has a great deal of information. I believe I sent you a one-liner question once concerning a point I didn't see addressed in your profile. you responded and answered my question. So, it's not that they've sent a one-liner, it's that the one liner is less than desirable.

I agree. That's why I responded. I don't mind a one-liner if it's a question or something, so of course I'll always try to be polite and respond. I've screwed up a few times here and there cause my life gets strangely hectic at times, but I'll almost always try to respond if there's a question or an opening to a conversation.

But it's the "tell me more" one liners where I know nothing about them that tend to get on my nerves. My usual response these days, if there is one, is to respond with "why?"

I'm really not in the mood to complain these days, but for some reason I seem to be getting a LOT of one-liner introductions from women these days. You know the kind that say something like: "I read your profile and am looking for a sub, so send me all of your information."

Wow, you get a much better class of one-liner than I do.  The ones I've gotten generally run to "you're an abomination in the eyes of God."

But at least it's mail...LOL.

I love messages like that they are hilarious

Personally I don’t like people to send me endlessly long opening messages since I feel that I should respond with a message of a similar length and I find it hard to write long messages to people I don’t know, I prefer slaves to just send a short polite message which expresses interest and does not leave me feeling like I have to give them my entire life story in response.

Rude people abound.  Think of it as help in knowing to pass them by.

One approach is summed up in the quote from Hannibal Lector.

"Free range rude"

Just me, etc.

I looked at the title of this thread and though it was about comedy.

I really need more sleep.

As for the insensitive messages you get - well, at least you can cross them off the list of possibles.  Anyone with so little imagination won't be much fun as a Domme.

When I get a one liner, I answer with a one liner.  One can never tell what one can find.

I have received mails from several subs, but always one-liners. I typically respond with another one-liner which is not an outright dismissal, but which is vaguely uninterested.

I have also sent some women long, in-depth, thoughtful letters about their profiles which I found interesting, and received one-line responses. I usually figure, "I guess they're not as interesting as I originally thought," and don't bother to write again.
