Am I missing something? I'm more of an RT kind of guy, but now I'm in South Korea so I've got to get myself out there electronically.

So, all these girls look at my profile but don't do anything else. MOST are from far away. Is that a flirt or something? Is it a signal of some sort? I'm sure some are looking just to look, but so many, and nothing else comes of it most of the time.

What's going on here?

They read your profile because they were curious. When they read the profile, it didn't fit for them so they moved on.

There are also scammers that got prohibited from sending more messages, so they view profiles and hope for the men to make the first move.

Your profile would only be of interest to skinny bi women or larger women hoping to be humiliated about their weight. It limits your pool of prospective women and thus they look and think ... nah not for me

I read your profile and your term "fat hog" could be offensive to people. I also read your journal and your account of going into the woods with a woman you had just met~ who had drunk a considerable amount of alcohol, that would make me go to the next profile in a heartbeat.

No, it means they saw your intro or some silly thing and wondered some off of the wall question, like why are you in Korea.

I'm in the middle of nowhere. I still get enough views each day that the page flips over, at minimum, every 24 hours. If I spent My time worrying about it, that would be a wasted resource.

If you want my guess, narcissism. I just looked at your profile. From that, you would presumably conclude that while I think I'm a straight male master I must in fact be gay and secretly submissive? In fact, I was curious about where in Korea (as I noted, I have a friend there) and I also wanted to see about that photo.

In a sense you can see it as a signal. If lots of people are looking at your profile and few sending messages to you then you can safely assume that your profile has no interest to the vast majority of people who are looking.

Dude maybe nobody is mailing you because women are too smart to date a guy who will consider them less and less valuable/attractive with each passing day.
You keep saying over and over again you that "the younger the better" that means that any woman worth her salt will know that she'll never be a "better" for you. Women tend to not date men who see them as commodities before they even start dating.

they probably read it, thought it was so fucking funny that it wasn't even worth responding to. I never ever respond to profiles when I view them because I'm not looking for anything. I just like to read profiles because it's like looking at the photos of "The People of Walmart" website.

This is the internet and people perv profiles all the time. You note that most of them are from far away. So when they don't do anything else, they're simply self-selecting that they don't meet your criteria, or you don't meet theirs.

End result = no one wastes each others' time.
