But you must be right. I live right on the 'F' of 'F*cking Awful' at the bottom of that map, too. Even by British standards (which are abysmal for rainfall, as everyone knows) this summer has been the pits so far. And no sign of it changing, either. It's all about our being the wrong side of the Atlantic Jet, so I hear. Well, we're always the wrong side of *something* crucial - no surprise there. [:(]

Perhaps you should come to San Diego.....it's pretty much perfect all year here....

I'd take Salida Colorado myself. It's their 'monsoon' season.......which means they get a lovely shower nearly every evening.

Here, it's either fucking freeze your tits off cold, with ice storms, blizzards and the like......fucking hotter than the devils sauna and more humid with hellacious bugs.......or this year, hotter than hell's kitchen with no rain at all, huge cracks in the ground, and crops turning to dust. I do not much like SE Iowa.

yep, the british weather is a true wash out. i live in the north of england and it's just pants here at the mo. my son told me today though that the atlantic jet is set to be on the move north again. i certainly hope so because this crappy weather is getting me down.

i'm not sure i'm going to blame Peon for it though.

I think we should blame peon, and demand that he move here to the US (or at least visit for a nice long while, so those of us so inclined will all have a chance to meet him...)
