Obama has the most open and transparent administration in history.

Eventually he did. And it's possible that eventually romney will too.

Where you trying to make a point with this?

Is it ok for one to hold back info and not the other?

Are you worried they were less than Bush's "C" grades?

Clearly, tax returns are about far more, particularly when the candidate's stances directly related to his activities.

I don't think Obama ran on "Elect me; I got good grades."

Romney's ongoing refusal to publish his tax returns is hard to fathom ......... unless those tax return contain devastating facts, damaging enough to torpedo his bid for the White House.

The longer he refuses to publish, the more suspicions will grow, the more the media will burrow, the more little leaks here and there will become enormously damaging ...... If however the returns do contain dynamite, Romney's bid will be sunk anyway. If there's nothing untoward in the tax returns there's no reason not to publish them. It would end the speculation which is hurting his campaign.

Any politician so incompetent or sleazy that they get themselves into potentially fatal lose-lose situation before he even enters the White House cannot be trusted with the keys of the White House. Just imagine the pickles they could get the USA into if they win ........ they could make Bush look competent!

Funny I used to think the same thing everytime BO refused to show his birth certificate. I never had any doubt that he had one so why hide it?

For me it was all of his and Michelles college records, but you know - openness and transparency are things you would expect only from Conservatives

Not that leftists are huge hypocrites or anything, mind you)

Why would you care about Michelles college records?

Sanity -> RE: Mitt Romney: Cayman Islands Accounts Used By Foreign Investors To 'Not Be Subject To' U.S. Taxes (7/20/2012 8:45:56 AM)

More their hate whitey diatribes in their writings etc, and their terroristic rants

They had a racist preacher for generations and terrorist pals, after all

Like Tweakerbell asked, what are they hiding

Read tweakers words, and substitute the Obamas school records

Here's a clue...those wouldn't be in their college records.

Besides, you need the secret handshake first.

Jon Stewart destroys conservative hypocrisy on frivolous demands for documents

On his show Wednesday night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart said over the past three and half years conservatives had given liberals the “master class” on how to be “dicks” about documents.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has repeatedly insisted that he would not release more than his 2010 and 2011 tax returns, even though his own father set a standard of releasing 12 years of returns. As Stewart explained, Romney knows “the Democrats will be mean” if he releases any additional tax information.

“I see your concern,” he said. “These Obama people. Whatever you release it, will never be enough. They will just keep hounding you with frivolous transparency demands like this.”

Stewart then played clips of conservatives demanding Obama release his college transcripts, proof he was president of the Harvard Law Review, records from the Illinois state Senate, an “indelible record” of Michelle Obama using the word “whiteys,” the White House visitor records, and — of course — his birth certificate.

But even after Obama released his long-form birth certificate, conservatives were still not satisfied. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio recently claimed the document was a forgery.

“Yes. Thank you Sheriff Joe,” Stewart joked. “If anyone knows how to authenticate a 50-year-old Hawaiian birth certificate, it is the Arizona County Sheriff.”

Heres a clue for you, 'professor' - you dont know the first thing about what goes on in colleges and universities if you really fail to understand how ones writings as a student can be extremely revealing about that individual and their ideological bent

In which case, why have none of you self righteous whiners been able to produce any documents displaying teh Kenyan's sinister Marxist agenda to overthrow America from back when he was in college rather than the senate and could come out with that stuff at will without worrying about about the consequences?
The best any of you have managed is a few stray quotes taken out of contents from one of his mind numbingly tedious memoirs, and the main impression you get from those is that he wasn't sitting around smoking dope and talking revolution back then, he was the sort of tiresome grind who had little or no social life outside of his studies.

Do you think every paper a person wrote is contained in their college transcript?

I find that to be questionable, or puzzling.. if a person is an "aggressive tax planner", why have $100 million in an IRA when the tax hit will get ya when you turn 71 or so.. If I understand the tax hit when he turns 71, it will be substantial.. why is it not in a ROTH?

A ROTH is a form of IRA. I have one, in addition to my 403(b).

Yes, I know its a form of IRA but (as I understand it), you pay tax on the money going in and the money made in the ROTH is then tax free.. A ROTH is the only type of retirement fund that makes any sense to me, normal IRAs (where you get taxed on money taken out) is something I would never put my $ into.. JMO, of course..

Well, producing anything would be a start.
All you have so far is unsubstantiated blather and speculation.

Grades and transcripts would definitely be part of your college records, yep.
No idea if they'd have minutes of the secret "Kill Whitey" meetings Sanity's on about, though. That's probably a college organisation that's independent from the administration and the academic faculties.
