OR the government can choose to keep their greedy fucking paws off of the citizen's money.

Good post, by someone who works for the government and probably gets a good pension and medical deal.

Heres a clue for you, 'professor' - you dont know the first thing about what goes on in colleges and universities if you really fail to understand how ones writings as a student can be extremely revealing about that individual and their ideological bent

Here's a clue...those wouldn't be in their college records.

Besides, you need the secret handshake first.

Why do the ignorant always think they can pass out the clueless badges?

As an insider, I can tell you, again, that a student's records would say NOT ONE FUCKING THING YOU IDIOTIC JOKE about that student's writings.

Classes, grades, programs, degree, semesters, grade point averages, transferred credits -- that's it.

Even DURING a student's time at a college, that student's records wouldn't contain information about what the student wrote, short of being found guilty of plagiarism, and even then, nothing about the topic. Anything even of that nature is tossed upon graduation.

Yes, I know its a form of IRA but (as I understand it), you pay tax on the money going in and the money made in the ROTH is then tax free.. A ROTH is the only type of retirement fund that makes any sense to me, normal IRAs (where you get taxed on money taken out) is something I would never put my $ into.. JMO, of course..

Which is a good idea depends entirely on your circumstances. The idea of a traditional IRA is that you'll be withdrawing it when you are in a lower tax bracket. Otherwise, absolutely, a Roth makes far more sense.

Where did I write "college transcript" ken

Similarly, mm erroneously thought I wrote "grades"

What is it with you people

quote:

Do you think every paper a person wrote is contained in their college transcript?

I certainly did not. You said "records." The ONLY records existing upon graduation are transcripts.

What other "records" do you think exist? Or is this more of your repeating RW hate media without understanding anything?

It seems Sanity has been taking his marching orders from the outrageously stupid teapartynation site.

Youre partially correct

In Obamas case NO records exist

Practically speaking

According to all my teachers, they hang on to your work for about 3 months after the semester ends and then they throw it out.

And those aren't student records.

But yes, no one saves student writing.

Leftists screaming about openness and tax information should empty their own closets first Mark

Pelosi had to backtrack on her remarks about Romneys taxes, half of Obamas cabinet consists of tax cheats, and there are no Obama college records to speak of

But conservatives have to reveal everything, without limit?

Talk about two standards! [:D]

Yep.
Given all of the hysteria about demanding to see a document that was produced first after the first request (then dismissed as a fake by the tinfoil brigade) we had from conservatives after a kenyan was elected, and all of the blatherabout how the current government isn't "transparent" enough, your boys need to be publishing their household accounts (complete with receipts and invoices) on the internet not to look like a bunch of two faced special pleaders who never met a double standard they don't like at this stage.
That's what happens when you make trivia and hysteria an issue, you'll find.
