I see it a little differently. Men and women have completely different experiences in the online kink world. Women really do have to sort through gobs of male attention, much of it: inappropriate, misleading, presumptuous, self centered, ill thought, etc.
Although some women may think "all men are assholes," the truth is more likely that women develop a kind of porcupine-like exterior as a natural defense mechanism to their immediate environment. This confounds men, because we have no need for such outer defenses, and when we see female attitudes so different from our own, we make poor inferences: i.e. she thinks all men are assholes.
To illustrate this consider a woman living in NYC for eight years. She probably half dreads looking in her mailbox b/c she'll have to throw out all the junk mail, sort the bills, etc. She lives in a different world then a man posted to Alaska who gets two letters a month from close friends.
If we asked the man and woman in this world, "what do you think of the mail," we'd get two completely different answers. The problem? Neither would be talking about the same thing.
A guy's job is to get out of the junk mail, monthly bills, solicitations mail stream -- if he can do that -- maybe then he can actually find out if the woman he courts truly hates men...
