"Feeling playful?" caught my interest butit was the little gasp and grin that followed when I decided that hell no, *I* wasn't going to be the one tied to the bed, that got me hooked.

Didn't really wake anything, but just explained things I'd felt for years. A "This is what it is supposed to be like"! [:)]

For me it was in private chat at a game site and he asked "do you like to be dominated?" when i answered "yes i like the guy to be in charge" he said from now on you will call me Master.[:)]

It is not what is said, but the way it is said. Still, I will go with...

"Please."

The prettiest girl in my eighth grade class often said, "Kiss my foot." If only she knew just how much I wanted to...

"Boys not permitted to cross this line."
Suddenly I was in a comfort zone I never knew really existed.

His first question pertaining to D/s since we had a vanilla friendship to start...

"Would you think of yourself as more of a submissive sort sexually or a dominant sort sexually"

My answer without hesitation "submissive"

eruditegirl1 -> RE: Words that Woke your soul to D/s? Share. (6/9/2006 10:56:37 PM)

It was in and IM with a man I had been vanilla dating....he had said something chauvinistic and I responded with..."well my hair and spank me....he said..."by the way I have been meaning to talk to you about that".....

I would say the genres of books that I was reading back in grade school,
being the precocious little bookworm child.  [8|]
I was absorbed and fascinated by action-adventure, science fiction,
fantasy, mystery and horror stories.  I also grew up watching
Saturday afternoon monster movies and science fiction films on
a particular channel in the Bay Area.  Needless to say, the imagination
was working over-time from a very early age.

How about Emma Peel in those skin tight black cat-suits?
Or the hot babes in the mini skirts and go go boots on the

first Star Trek?  Or Raquel Welch in a leather bikini?
All these images were part of the entertainment in that era.

greeting to all

My turning point was when i meant my submissive we are not together now but the words he spoke made me shiver. I walk up to him this was our first meeting oh he was so handsome and his eyes were so wonderful we talk and he was shy so shy as i walk to leave he would not look me in my eyes i said look at me and he tried but then he said " will you take me" i want lol to scream " hell yes and jump up" but being a domme i had to hold myselfe together. and i calmly said " yes" and he let out a exhale so quiet but so loud that was it. he was a wonderful submissive and it was os fun to have him not understand all i said I know who i was a domme

best wishes

I think it was the first kinky trial ass slapping while doing it doggy style with an ex boyfriend when I was eighteen.  Then he would put his hands around my neck, and when I suddenly felt the urge for him to slap my face, I knew there was something there...

kittinSol -> RE: Words that Woke your soul to D/s? Share. (6/10/2006 3:15:40 PM)

Interesting. I don't know which word was the one that set me off, since I was always twisted, deviant and perverse. As a child merely hearing the word 'spank' would make me do a lobster blush (and feel rather a lot of unexplainable emotions). Occurrences of various kinds provided me with clues which I ignored.

In the end, perhaps it was the boyfriend I was so in love with, he was worldly and older than me, who slippered me out of the blue one day after a party (I thought I was in heaven), then stood me up and said: "Take off your clothes." We were totally non-kinky up to that point.

Little did I know how far those dark, deep hidden desires would take me. This is like assembling a puzzle, isn't it?

:-)

I was chatroom hopping.......I think I may have been a roleplaying room and I got an IM that said something along the lines of he was watching me at the bar teasing all these men, and how he was going to punish me for being such a c___ktease. I had this whole conversation with him and remember how stern he was and how incrediably turned on I was.............I was also one of these woman who have never really been told NO. I always got what i wanted when I wanted it....yet I guess all along I wanted to beg for it.

mastersayed -> RE: Words that Woke your soul to D/s? Share. (6/10/2006 3:23:04 PM)

for me it was a visual i saw when i was about 7 of a greek myth damsil in distress chained by the wrists and the neck to the side of a cliff standing barefooted on the rocks of the shore. she was being offered as a sacrifice to posidon. she wore a very sexy high cut white dress that blew in the wind exposing her thighs and she had long dark hair. the icing on the cake was the look of pure helplessness on her face. now thats what i call art.

awhisper -> RE: Words that Woke your soul to D/s? Share. (6/10/2006 3:35:54 PM)

For me it was at age 6...seeing the captive damsel in a pirate movie, restrained, blindfolded, touched inappropriately, and threatened with knives.......
Before i was aware of sexuality, i had the desire to be Another's captive, completely at Their will.......
Some things never change. *smiles*

LaTigresse -> RE: Words that Woke your soul to D/s? Share. (6/10/2006 3:42:50 PM)

Great question. I have always been uncomfortable when not in control. It is really hard to explain part of it without sounding like an ego maniac but I am most at peace deep inside when those around me are looking to me for guidance, thinking I am cool and special, when I am the axis the whole place is revolving around. Which is weird because I am not a social butterfly, don't have to be the life of the party, not even really fond of crowds......which just now leads me to wonder if that is because with a big crowd I can not have the same affect as with a small group.....hmmmm.
I never had a relationship that really felt all encompassing. My exgirlfriend would bring up different BDSM stuff but she was so edgy in how she handled her whole life I just could not trust her enough and get her to really submit to me. We played and stuff but it just wasn't working, neither was the relationship. She was too emotionally damaged and self destructive because of things she cannot deal with from childhood. Then someone I had only considered a casual online friend of several years began to express more of an interest in me. At first I did not take her seriously because I am so cynical. I think my lack of trust in her pushed her into being more guarded with me. After awhile I began to think maybe, just maybe, shes being straight with me and I really tested her, boy did I run that girl thru an obstacle course. We had discussed various BDSM things but I think both of us were just so overly cautious and afraid to freak the other one out it took ages. Finally she sent me the sweetest email with a video attached. Her fear just oozed out of her words but it was one short paragraph that just went straight to my soul, I was a goner.

"Lee I have been so afraid but I need to show you this. It is what I need. Please please do not think less of me"

It was a Domina and submissive in session. I swear my heart almost stopped then jumped right out of my chest, my stomach going where my heart was supposed to be and full of butterflies. I could not get ahold of her fast enough or get the words out coherently. It just instantly felt right, finally I felt at peace and so excited at the same time.
Then life being what life is, stuff came up for her that consumed her time and emotional energy so I put off going to visit her knowing that for me to go there was going to be pretty frightening for her at first. She would have wanted to be at her best and give me a wonderful trip. Her life went from bad to worse causing her to move out of country. And many other issues have just driven us further and further apart it seems. Whatever the future holds I will always love her for helping to open that door to accepting myself and what I want.

Question: (I'm sure it's been posted before, but hey, there are newbies and established that still might want to share?)

What was the first word or visual that you saw/heard...that began your exploration into D/s?

Mine: I was at a keyboard working, a male friend simply whispered into my vanilla ears 4 years ago, "Wear heels to work tomorrow."  Next day,  I wore them thinking it was a game. It was no game....Collared 6 months later.

These were not the words that drew me to the lifestyle but the words that kept me in the lifestyle. O/our Collaring Vows.

jezabel{KH}

To Master:

You are my sun and i will rise with You and feel the warmth of You and Your embrace.

You are my moon and i will descend with You every night.

You are my world and my everything, one promises to honor, obey, cherish, love, be mindfull out of respect and one knows her place.

You are my sun, You are my moon, You are my everything and it is locked up here in my heart in a very special place and i give You the one and only key.

with all my love jezabel{KH}

to jezabel:

I offer this collar to you as a symbol of my desire to own and protect you.

I promise to love, cherish, guide, teach and nurture you as best as I can as W/we journey through life together as Master and slave

you are the light in My days, the warm comfort in My nights. you are the source of y laughter and the secret behind my smile that causes those around me to wonder why it is there.

and you will always be My most prized posession.

With Love Master Ken

W/we have had our bad days, but the good days far out weigh the bad. W/we just celebrated our 3 yr collaring anniversary in may and O/our 3 year wedding anniversary is coming up in july. yes i was double collared, locked steel around my neck and a white gold ring of "O" on my left finger............thank you Master, and i love you more today than yesterday and even more tomorrow.

Having raised children, I have been in the habit of praising proper behaviour and accomplishments with the phrase 'Good girl!'  Well, it turns out that after my divorce, I found a lovely girlfriend who was fairly inexperienced, and on one occassion, she'd done something I especially enjoyed, and I uttered the words. "Good Girl!" This, prompted her enthusiastic (but borderline sarcastic) reply, 'Yes Sir.'
Interestingly, I felt challenged, and then made a point of making demands of her so that she would take my praise much more seriously. She and I went then from 'zero to KINK' in about a month flat.

I was still adolescent. Eric Clapton came on the radio singing his cover of Hendrix's "Little Wing". Mmhmm. Long enough ago that there were still undergound radio stations.

Can you guess which couplet gave me a profound if not entirely clear sense of recognition, as if I were somehow listening to my own future?

By now the reality has exceeded the fantasy.

Which, you know, is nice.
