As all of you know, genuine economic statistics are compiled, processed, analyzed, etc. Which makes them very useful but not all that timely. I am actively looking for work and IMO am pretty well monitoring the economic health of the Denver area. I have noticed a serious increase in economic activity in Denver over the last two to four weeks, that is translating to more positions advertised, more recruiters showing interest, etc. I have confirmed this with one other local jobseeker. Are there others, in other places in the US, that have seen anything similar? It makes no sense to me. In an election year, conventional wisdom is that companies will table their plans until they know who will get elected and what the resultant economic policies will be.
