Yup. Agreed, there are people who do those things. Which shows there are goofballs on both sides of the equation, but I see no reason to let either kind off the hook for bad behavior. If some schmuck says things like that in an email, yes, all bets are off, but that's not what we're talking about, assuming Alpha Red is a reasonable guy sending reasonable emails, and there's nothing here to suggest that he ignored things in the profiles like that, one one would have to acknowledge that his complaint is as valid as yours...wouldn't one?

I don't think "the men here have taught the women that replying with 'No thank you' will lead to" trouble. I think some men have, and some women who might act as if it's simply "the men here" are equally culpable.

Oh, and "fellow dominants"? Not here. Hell, I don't even watch wrestling. :)

This entire aregument has been done to death. If having your emails ignored makes you this frothy, then maybe you need to rethink using the internet as a way to meet people.

I would disagree, Lady Hibiscus, with greatest respect, especially since it's evidently such a common complaint that it's been 'done to death'. I'm not sure who sounded "frothy", and I don't know this guy from Adam, but clearly it remains a problem for some (beyond the mouth breathers).

I see much smaller complaints rehashed on here every day, so it doesn't bother me if he has his say.

I always wonder about the people who come here to complain about women ignoring them on here. When they hit on a girl in real life and she walks away without saying a word, do they get just as angry and ranty?

As others have said, most probably are reading at least the beginning of your messages by mousing over them, as you don't need to open them.

They also probably pop over to your profile and find that they're not interested. To be straightforward, your profile starts out well, but it doesn't say much about you a person (love your job? have hobbies? what makes you laugh? etc. etc.) Simply writing "ask me if you want to know more"....why should they when there are lots of other dominant guys out there with more descriptive profiles, and some people don't want to invest the time.

In my two years of being a member here, I've never really gotten the rude response to a no thank you...until just now.

Granted, it wasn't an email I would usually respond to in the first place, but I was semi-testing this theory, and it worked. Blah!
