I'm pretty damn sure I know the answer to this question but it keeps bringing up an arguement with someone I know that firmly believes a sub should never see his lady cry. That it is a sign of weakness and that she is not really a dominant. Personally I think he needs beat in the face with a hammer for thinking a title can remove human emotion but I would like all of you to chime in with what you think as well.

yes along with every other human being on the planet. Personally if I never saw my Dom cry I would be concerned that he was emotionless and cold which is not something I want in a man.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 2:12:59 PM)

Wow. Anyone who thinks he can get through our life together with me never showing emotion, especially crying, had better just GTFO right now.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 2:14:07 PM)

Hey set this to multiple answers so I can beat him with a hammer too!

This exactly.

I thought I did. And I think I should have made the title is dominant allowed to cry seeing as little wonder pointed out that she expects to even see a man cry from time to time.

Anyone know how to change it?

errrm Never mind. I should pay attention to the button that says edit :|

Lucylastic -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 2:30:59 PM)

And hes gonna stop us crying how??
I dont cry often, but when I do, there's a reason, I want him to be able to understand and react accordingly
I dont cry and then deny tho...

CRYPTICLXVI -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 4:14:38 PM)

Can I hit him with the hammer???

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 4:16:05 PM)

I am pretty much all about the mayhem. Gotta do something with all that sexual energy.

LaTigresse -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:08:07 PM)

I went with bloody mayhem.

pyschosubmission -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:09:54 PM)

7 and 7 for human and beat with a hammer, I love you guys

LaTigresse -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:11:55 PM)

I even have several hammers.

And a big sledge hammer.

And a splitting maul.

And an axe or two.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:15:27 PM)

I have a tack hammer that I'm quite partial to.

pyschosubmission -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:19:44 PM)

If this is an Ad Hoc Internet Posse that has just been rounded up, can I just throw in that I have the "grrrr angry" music to add into the mix...

DesFIP -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:27:17 PM)

He's never going to get himself a dominant with that attitude. Hoist on his own petard.

ReMakeYou -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:36:13 PM)

Some people have unrealistic expectations what they can expect in a partner. I find that natural consequences are better than any punishment I could dream up.

LadyPact -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:39:11 PM)

It takes a greater strength of Dominance to be able to have emotions, know how to express them freely, and the power to be a whole human being as yourself than any fucked up/trumped up stereotype. I would never want somebody who couldn't accept Me as a whole person, Myself, rather than who *he* wanted Me to be.

TNDommeK -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 7:39:29 PM)

Crying is a human trait, beating with hammers is a fun trait, and I am a fun girl.

Winterapple -> RE: Are dommes "allowed" to cry? (7/26/2012 9:28:07 PM)

Dominants, male and female, are allowed to cry.
I would be upset if I saw my Dom cry not because
he was crying but because something had
happened to upset him. Doms can cry when
Old Yeller dies, when their kid graduates,
when music or art moves them and any
number of other things with their domliness
in tact.
There are all sorts of situations in life
where if a person didn't cry or get teary
you'd wonder what the hell was wrong
with them.
