Well, I have helped my former submissive lose weight, but we were already dating at the time, and I was attracted to him as he was. I didn't use punishment or anything particularly extreme about it, but had him keep an exercise and food log, and we went on a lot of physically active dates together (indoor rock climbing, dancing, hiking, etc). My last submissive wasn't overweight, but she and I did do a lot of walking, yoga, etc. together. In a couple of my relationships, the man I was with helped me with my stretches for my gymnastics class, and we occasionally incorporated stretches and challenging positions into our kink (using bondage or command to "freeze" and hold a particular position while he thwacked me). I think that the occasional scene as a drill instructor or personal trainer or some such roleplay could be fun, but generally, I wouldn't want to put a lot of work into someone who I wasn't attracted to.

I have never connected completely with a very obese sub to the point of placing a collar on her or him, why , because of all the obese sub's I have met they do not want Me to literately train them all the way, and they have not been realy ready to put in the hard personal work 'themselves' under My tutelage / leadership to be the high standard human being they can be. Mostly they want Me to save them and no one can save another person from Your own adult responsibility to look after Your own health. *Sigh, I am what You mite call a 'positively polarized' Man I look at a person and see their potential vs there present state, I route for the underdog. I have heard all the excuses, " I have diabetes" ... " I have arthritis" ... " It is genetic" ... " I have chronic fatigue syndrome" ... "I have bad knees" , flat feet etc...etc... Truth is, that 'physically' is it a matter of mathematics, calories in and stored vs calories out and burned. Example: anyone who goes to a Nazi concentration camp for 1 year no matter how morbidly obese will be slim as an NBA center forward it's al math baby lol. The sticky wicket is your inner emotions, the problem is in your mind and psyche. Many obese people eat to comfort themselves to replace the mother they never had or lost , they are their own mom. Many obese women are heavy as a self defense protection from the gross sexual attention and advances from sexually abusive selfish male pig's ( beauty & sexual attractiveness has a definite down side ) as any Master / Dominant Man knows that the so called "perfect 10 " female sub can hide a HUGE ego and never wish to be truly tamed and surrender to Master. Beautiful women can many times be like left a handed fighter and tennis player, they get more attention and score more points for some thing they did not even work for and more ego support than is healthy and they can be monstrously narcissistic and make crappy shallow parents and life partners. Digressing: when some obese women reach adulthood they can miss some of the rote ego support through sexual attention they never got that they wish they had in moderation they end up being VERY promiscuous in order to gain back some of what they never had. Some obese women become total sluts to 'get back' at men and have some control of the men who never loved them by trying to become a fix / fixation to the men and get close to the handsome guys they know will never marry them. This can get real deep and perhaps is not for this forum ? Please excuse me if I talk about obese sub's as a clinical 'thing' and not as a precious individual human being , ok. I look at the true submissive ( obese for sure ) differently than I do a vanilla obese sub, and defiantly different that a Dominant person, I see that they in a positive way they NEED guidance , training, discipline, self discipline, leadership, an example etc.... more so than any Dominant Woman or Man, and so this is My job much like the Marines take a sad sack soft ball of goo and strip away the civilian laissez faire malaise to reveal the highly tuned machine . Many times the obese person needs to be injected with self confidence by proxy. Conversely most of the time they tend to look for a savior to save them from their own self pity and chronic doubt and I shy away from ANY sub looking for Me to save them because when a person puts You up on a pedestal and then they see that You are not the perfect person Man God that they made You out to be they will try to break down the altar they put You on it's called love - hate ) Jesus saves You 'from' what you are, the Marines demand you to be the best you 'can' be , and Master is some were in the middle , lol. Wrapping this up, ti do not reject the sincere BBW or obese Male, but I am VERY strict and picky I have to be I only have one life and so much time to put into any sub to be my eventual slave. Sort of replying to both Jeff and wittynamehere at the same time. This really is not a D/s thread so much as a relationship thread. I mean, the op was possibly expecting more from a Dom than from the vanilla ilk of menfolk, and I suppose that is because they have the ability to 'command' or 'direct' a partner more due to the power exchange. However, as wittynamehere has mentioned, what was aesthetically pleasing in a vanilla sense did not change much when looking at submissives. However, I love what Jeff said. I have a friend, vanilla, who had exceptionally high standards. He was always cutting girls down for one reason or another. They were too short, too tall, had too small an ass, had too big of an ass. You get the idea. He was so focused on looks and physical attributes that when he did date, the girls he ended going out with were pretty and well built, but they usually had nothing in common with him (or they were nuckin' futz!). To make a long story short, he met a girl a couple of years ago who he could not possibly fathom dating. She was on the "low side of average" in looks (his words, not mine!); and while she was smart, and a kind, caring girl- he just could not get past her mediocrity. Still, they started hanging out, as just friends... They are getting married next year. He has never been happier in his entire life. And now he sees her through completely different lenses. She is beautiful, because he loves her, and because she is the entire package. She's not just the sum of her appearance, there is so much more, and he feels like the luckiest guy in the world to have her in his life. Sometimes, you just don't know what's going to happen. laughs My story was a little different. I never was one to chase the hot girls. The insides of people are much, much more visible to me than their outsides. Give me "good enough" and I'm "good to go". But I'd had some bad lovers and they'd convinced me that... you know... because I liked sex I was some sort of deviant. Indeed. Here in the midwest, meth is damned near an epidemic. I drive by several houses that are boarded up because they are contaminated due to prior residents 'cooking'. The houses are now a toxic waste site and most local governments do not have funds to deal with them. I drive past a farm where a house was literally blown up a few months ago. You can spot a meth head almost immediated, once you know what to look for. And, what most of them do not realize is that you can also smell them. They have a very distinct scent.
