Hello everyone!

I'm just curious about everyone's opinion on this but...would you ever consider dating a Dom/Sub/Switch that had bluntly told you that they were a virgin? Would it deter you from wanting to know them since they would probably have little to no experience, or would you be OK with it?

I would be fine getting to know her and see where things go. However, I wouldn't rush into anything, and I certainly wouldn't write her off. Just because she hasn't had sex doesn't mean she isn't a person or capable of generating the chemistry and deep connections we all crave and desire. It just means she hasn't fucked anyone. Big deal.

Well being that I'm 40 years old and I dated men my own age, the answer would be no. It would feel like I was dating a child. EEeeww

No way, I won't even consider a relationship with anyone who doesn't have a similar level of relationship experience. Having been married and divorced by age 26, virgins don't really fit into the picture.

Thankfully my current partner has a similar level of relationship experience, in fact we met by chatting about our impending divorce hearings :)

Take one into my bed? Sure. In the sense that I'm picky who I bed in general. Virginity is like a divorce or a family trauma; I'll want a sense of how it impacts things before I'll do anything further.

I'm near 50. If she is old enough for me to date, I would think it strange. After all, I was 12...

Reviewing the question, Experience is not what I would be thinking of. Motive. Why. That is what matters.

I don't see why not. Someone having "experience" with someone else is irrelevant to what experience they would potentially have with me. Individuals react to each other differently--having experience with one does not equate to being better equipped to handle a different one.

That being said, I'm very young. Were I older like most others who have answered? My answer might be different. If at 40 or 50 they are still virginal, I'd be wondering why.

Absolutely, I love virgins. I love being the first to leave my mark in every sense of the word.

Although, if I were a sub/bottom/masochist and the person had no experience topping, I'd probably either want to go very slow or have a third party on hand to act as a spotter. However, since I am a dominant sadist who doesn't switch or bottom for anyone, it's a moot point.

My first sub was 14 years younger than I and a virgin (age 22 at the time). I've often thought that I wouldn't touch a virgin, but he showed me that teaching can be fun. And frustrating. More fun, thankfully.

Experience is key in so many areas of life but I see no problem with being the first experience in this case.

I do agree with another here--if that person is older (say, 40 plus) I would have to wonder WHY the person is still a virgin.
