Today one of the girls and I went to Chick-fil-A to the demonstration. It was very awesome!! There were a small handful of hateful gestures toward us but a WHOLE LOT OF positive honks and waves. The news was there, they got pics of My sign and interviewed the lady beside us. It was a wonderful experience.
This was My sign, obviously you can see my artistic abilities and creativity...Just wanted to point that out lol.

Basically in summary Chick Fil A is supporting anti gay groups and even ex-gay therapy programs. They are also saying stuff to the effect that being Gay is against what God wants for us.

So at Chick Fil A's everywhere gay people are protesting their stance with signs & making out, and the opposite are also coming out. No pun intended.

I was asked by a friend once why I supported gay rights . I told him I did not support gay rights I supported the rights of all humans to live as the wanted be it gay straight or just alone . No one group should have more rights than another and no one should tell anyone else they can live as they chose as long as they are adults and follows the laws set down to protect them .

It was awesome though, I think next time I'll add glitter to the sign and make it prettier. But yes, I agree, I think EVERYONE should have equal rights. It was an awesome time. I bought cases of water out there for everyone as well, it was hot as two rats gettin it on in a wool sock.

I still can't get my head around why people have a problem with same sex marriage, if you don't like it, the answer is simple, don't marry somebody of the same sex, otherwise I can't see why it would affect somebody who's not gay....

Whoo hoo! Good for you. I hate Chick-fil-a so never eat there, now I have an excellent reason not to patronize that franchise.

If the Supreme Court wasn't closing their eyes, it should have been made clear to everyone that gay rights are covered by the 1964 Civil Rights Act which prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender. If telling someone they can't marry because they are the wrong gender isn't gender discrimination, I don't know what is.
