Obama has deliberately and bitterly divided the country along racial and political lines, and he is hammering away with his hateful class warfare rhetoric thus trying to drive a divide between the classes (in a formerly classless society) for the sole purpose of trying to further his political ambitions

Obama has also given us the longest continuing recession ever, he has tied the all time poverty rate, and with so many on the welfare roles he can honestly be referred to as the food stamp president

His Department of "Justice" has illegally provided narco terrorists with weapons and Obama himself is continuing to stonewall the investigation of the scandal, which resulted in many deaths (despite his previous empty promises of unprecedented openness).

" (in a formerly classless society) "
Are you fucking kidding me?
You have,in the past, made some ridiculous, over the top, right wing-nut comments but this one just might take the cake. What fucking country did you really grow up in ?
Could we see YOUR birth certificate ?

Lucy provided a list of things Obama did TO us

EXAMPLE

"He increased funding for National Parks and Forests by 10% http://bit.ly/fbJPjY"

WTF!!! He campaigned on promises to halve the deficit, not add TO it

He is insane, and it is time for a change

quote:

ORIGINAL: Musicmystery

um....Lucy already provided all that.

From here, if you want to bitch and be taken seriously, you'll have to get equally specific.

So you are on record as against National Parks too?
WTF sanity,I thought you liked the great outdoors, didn't you once have a profile pic of you in your best ":Charlie Brown" shirt standing next to one of those great big trees they have in those parks ?

So......sorry TJ, the links are there, if you are too lazy to check them out and look into them further, that is not my problem, that is YOURS and yours to look into and discredit, or justify, not mine.
The thread title is not "What is the result of Obamas policies/changes?"
How soon would you like to see the results of something, the inner workings, did you see just how many things are on that list???
you do YOUR part.[;)]

Sanity, glad to see you havent lost your ability to make me laugh...so adding money to the national park system by a STAGGERING 130 million is such a drain on the public purse, when only the "PUBLIC" will suffer the consequences of the expenditure. Maybe you are just peeved that stopping the public elk hunt is something you are personally engaged by.
It doesnt however detract from your utter hatred and outlandish claim that the President is insane.
And Im glad to see you are debunking ..post by post, your own claims of leftist hate and divisiveness with such class and inside knowledge.
Brava!

By a change, going back to what got us here--MORE military spending, MORE tax cuts, Bush on Steroids policies.

Insane Indeed.

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/14/2012 8:53:04 PM)

Who can deny that Obamas debt is unpatriotic

By Obamas own estimation going back means staying on the present course

And really, what got us here was Carters, and Clintons, and Barny Franks magic free housing scheme

Im sure youve heard of it

quote:

Democrats Were Wrong on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Seventeen.

That's how many times, according to this White House statement (hat tip Gateway Pundit), that the Bush administration has called for tighter regulation of the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Congress has cooperated only once. In spring 2007, as House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank likes to point out, the House did pass a bill in response. The Senate did not act until 2008; Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd spent most of 2007 camped out in Iowa running for president. The legislation passed by Congress in 2008 enabled Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to put Fannie and Freddie into federal conservatorship this summer when they failed. But it didn't prevent them from spewing a huge amount of toxic waste, in the form of subprime and Alt-A mortgages, into our financial institutions from 2004 to 2007. As Stephen Spruiell points out in The Corner on National Review Online, Fannie and Freddie spewed out $1 trillion worth (face value) of subprime mortgages between 2005 and 2007. That's a whole lot of toxic waste. For more detail, consult the items referred to in my previous blogpost on this subject (most of the comments seem to have been disputes about the plot line of the movie It's a Wonderful Life, which I should think could be settled by consulting a reference work).

<snip>

Much if not all of that could have been prevented by a bill cosponsored by John McCain and supported by all the Republicans and opposed by all the Democrats in the Senate Banking Committee in 2005. That bill, which the Democrats stopped from passing, would have prohibited the GSEs from speculating on the mortgage-based securities they packaged. The GSEs' mission allegedly justifying their quasi-governmental status was to package or securitize such mortgages, but the lion's share of their profits—which determined top executives' bonuses—came from speculation.

And if youre waiting for a plan to address the deficit crisis from Obama, or even for any budget at all, go ahead and hold your breath. Be my guest...

Musicmystery -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/14/2012 8:55:13 PM)

Dems have been pulling the wool over Reps eyes since 1976?

Damn you guys are slow.

Lucylastic -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/14/2012 9:01:52 PM)

Reagan, Bush 1 n 2 were impotent??
Bugger my pussycat... LMFAO thats hilarious

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/14/2012 9:43:29 PM)

Dems have been pulling the wool over their own eyes, rather. Mortgages for people who cant afford it?

Really?

Think - try to figure out, if you can, why the Reps have been and are so opposed

I'm trying to figure then why they never did anything about it, having been in the majority several times during that period.

Are Republicans really just that incompetent?

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/14/2012 10:07:56 PM)

I gave you a link explaining it, even posted several paragraphs that walk you through it on a very basic level

I dont know why youre having so much difficulty with it

Maybe you just need to try a little harder to focus. Or try going for a long walk in the cool night air, then try reading through it all later, when you get back

And yet, they STILL weren't able to get any results----in 36 years!

I'd say that's a pathetic record. And you know why?

Because Republicans have lost their ability to govern. The reason I haven't supported third parties, even though I'd love to see them viable, is that they are so far largely single-issue PACs essentially, and if they were in charge, they'd be lost in the realities of governing. The Republicans have abdicated their governance platform, however, in favor of becoming a, if not single issue, few issue party, and in so doing, have hampered their ability to govern.

I don't think that's a good thing; I don't like the idea of a one-party system know anymore than when the GOP tried to manufacture a permanent majority in 2001-2006. But the new party will have to rise from the ashes of the current Republican Party; the old one died with Reagan, and has lost its interest in truly governing.

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 8:32:03 AM)

This is nice

From todays Drudge report:

quote:

Price of Ground Beef Hits Record High...

OBAMA: To protect ethanol, raise meat prices...

This, while shutting down the Keystone pipeline and coal reserves and other abundant sources of energy...

What would we ever do without the great Obama looking out for us

mnottertail -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 8:55:34 AM)

Oh, there is some energy shortage somewhere on earth because of the state asserting its states rights and shutting it down because of the clear and present hazard to the water supply? (a republican at that)  and Obama won't use eminent domain without a guarenteed and workable detailed plan if disaster strikes?

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 9:12:08 AM)

Whether it is Obama or some strawman diversion taking food out of the mouths of the poor let them face the voters while honestly and frankly defending their cold heartdness

mnottertail -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 9:47:40 AM)

Well, the house is at present taking the food out of the mouths of the poor.  Its the fact, even Faux is in on reporting it.

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 10:18:02 AM)

If they're helping Obama drive up the cost of food and energy

With women, children, minorities and the elderly as always being the hardest hit

Then vote them out

But why do I have the feeling that's not the case

*psst* There's a global food shortage and energy squeeze.

We're actually doing quite well, feeling only a piece of each.

Sanity -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 12:20:11 PM)

Psst, Obama is insisting that a large percentage of the corn that will survive the drought be needlessly diverted into fuel and we do have poor people who will get hurt by this cold hearted policy

Its purely based on Obamas radical ideology and politics, and its to hell with the nations poor

Musicmystery -> RE: So what has Obama done? (8/15/2012 12:49:21 PM)

You need to learn about the petroleum industry -- in the U.S., they largely control the food industry too, and these people go after government money wherever they can.

End sugar cane subsidies . . . we don't actually need corn syrup.
