Status: offline 		PA has 20 electoral votes.

Yesterday a judge upheld the draconian voter ID law.

Over 700,000 registered voters in PA do not have the necessary ID.

The ACLU is appealing but the case probably won't be heard until mid-September.

PA could very go red simply because of voter suppression due to this law.

Obama won PA by just over 600,000 in '08.

Nah.  Locking up those who disagree is really more of a liberal characteristic.

However, if any of them decide they must leave the country as a result, I'll be happy to drive them to the airport.

Status: offline 		The election is on November 6th. Why don't those without a proper ID just go and get one ? I'm sure that the union minivans will pick them up to get this done in time for the election.

Then there is the horrifying way Obama might win.  Fear, hatred, appeals to the cowardice of those who believe that the best days of our country are behind us, that opportunity and self-reliance are dead, and that their only hope is for government to send them poverty maintenance benefits.

We are not that nation, Steve, at least I hope not.

It's already been fun, actually. While I was not thrilled when Obama was elected I knew there would be some measure of enjoyment watching from the sidelines. Watching the very people who mobilized and secured his election who just knew that their lives and fortunes were going to turn around magically because a black man was finally in the White House. Fast forward four years and many of them are worse off now if anything. It will be interesting to see if the machine can rally again and put Mr. "Yes, We Can't" back in the WH for another term.

The republicans have issues they can win.

Unemployment.
Involved in more "wars" then under Bush.
Economy is almost stand-still.
Country is more racially divided.
Corruption (I speak of Obama's choices; not him).

The Dem's, in response, have a platform of:

It's Bush's fault.

Stay the course. It'll get better.

Anyone that doesn't vote for Obama is a racist.

It's gonna be fun to watch this implode.

I think that's part of the Dems. Re-election plan.

With no voter IDs, they're going to use the vans and Get People Out Of State the Vote.

Once you've voted in Va., you can head to Md., De., Southern NJ, and still be back home to watch the fraudulent voting results.
