Yes. I was referring to the 2008 election cycle. The Israeli attack and invasion was carefully timed to occur between the election itself and Obama's inauguration. IOW during the power vacuum as Bush vacated the White House but before Obama assumed the reins. There are very good reasons why Palestinians have come to dread US elections. Cast Lead is only one of them.

You almost have a point

There are some who feel that Obamas October surprise (last ditch effort to win the election) may involve an attack on Iran of some kind

Iran is building nuclear bombs and is vowing to use them on Israel

Compare that to how Hitler built his gas chambers and his ovens in secret while also using very similar rhetoric

Amazing how the Israelis inconveniently refuse to forget their history lesson, and for some strange reason your line of reasoning doesnt occur to them

If what you say is true, Iran points theirs at Israel, Israel points their at Iran, and you have a middle East Cold War....

I lived through part of the Cold War here, knew where the fallout shelters were in my elementary school, we ducked under desks a couple of times

a year, moved in an orderly fashion to the basement of the building, and sat against the walls of the hallway.

Mutually assured destruction seems to be a pretty good deterant, it seems for all the posturing, there is still only one country who has ever used a nuke.

What are you talking about? Do even you know?

The Neo-Con push to invade Iran is well-documented -- they publicly called for it in 2011. Read a newspaper.

Name calling? Neo-Cons or Obama? Those are their names, did you know that? That was in the papers too.

If you're going to be a conservative, you might want to find out what your Masters are calling for.
