Yeah, I caught that. But if he's looking for a debate about the different approaches, it's been going on.

Perhaps you were too busy bickering to notice. But Ryan's points and Obama's points are neither secret nor public.

Read something besides the headlines sometime. There's content in those articles.

Medicare debates are needed on the main stage of the presidential debates because we as a nation are at an ideological crossroads

Most leftists are obviously blissfully unaware that the Medicare program is fast going bankrupt and there is currently no leadership in Washington and no plan to save it

EVERYTHING is fast going bankrupt, but Obama cant be bothered to show any leadership on the issues because he is on his back swing

Romney and Ryan offer a plan to save Medicare, as well as everything else

Obama however, needs everyone to just hush up so he can continue to improve his golf score

If you think any of that is news to anyone, then you're more isolated than I thought.

EVERYONE knows Medicaid, SS, and Defensive are the big three expenses. EVERYONE knows they need adjustment.

Except Romney, who wants to FURTHER bloat the military, and Ryan, who thinks elimination = fixing.

And both of them believing that when you cut revenue, you get more revenue. Magical Money. At least for the top.

Is that why you decry the debate, you know theres an issue

HERES why the debate forces you to continuously lash out at me personally, as you did above... the arguement wont be against your straw men, the debate will be real, and your side isnt up nearly to it

And you are scared to death

You are such a clueless character.

"Decry" the debate? Hardly. I'm pointing out that it's going on and has been going on and on and on and on and on and on.

If you want to watch them repeat their points and attacks, jolly for you. It's no secret what they'd say.

Hello.

Lash out at you personally above? WTF? Are you Romney or Ryan? Welcome to the boards! I had no idea.

Or have you been a parrot so long that you no longer see yourself as separate?

The debate has been going on, and goes on everyday. Read a newspaper.

Maybe television makes things real for you. I don't know.

I don't suppose you can tear yourself away from Sanity long enough to discuss the media (AP) bias on display in the very headline they put on the original story, can you, Muse?

Of course, there are the holidays coming up and all...

You know my position on the media well, Rich. How often do you need it repeated?

Journalism is dead and dying, depending on the venue. Sensationalism won.

Which conveniently allows you pretend not to see the partisanship that marches through the daily newscasts, and headlines.  The art may be dead and dying, Muse, but the product is still getting churned out.

Fwiw, the headline on AP's own site is slightly different from what Yahoo! News (and this thread) used.

AP: "ROMNEY WANTS RUNNING MATE TO PLAY IT SAFE, FOR NOW"

Yahoo! News: "Romney wants his risky pick to play it safe"

That said, I do think this piece would have been better labeled as news analysis or opinion.

Perhaps you missed it, Muse.  The story is the foundation (such as it is) for the thread where you so joyously jumped in.  That isn't an Owner59 created thread title, it's the headline on the report.

Or were you just wading in blind?

Context, Rich. The "it" refers to the partisanship media you were discussing immediately prior.

In the school yard? I want a debate on the national stage. Both sides laying out their positions on how medicare should be funded in the future.

As you have been repeatedly told those positions are already out there, well not Romney's,he's withholding details(he really doesn't like to commit himself to much of anything, tomorrow he changes his mind anyway)
Everything from your side begins with repeal "Obamacare" and........well than we will discuss "real fixes" LOL.
Basically repealing Obamacare is going to take care of everything that is wrong with America.....at least to right wing nut minds.

Those positions are not out there. We have talking points and bs from both sides. Lets have a debate on medicare, and medicare alone and let the chips fall where they fall.

Obama / Biden are the duo that are refusing the medicare debate.. Nothing secret here. Maybe they are actually afraid of Paul Ryan ??
