ORIGINAL: searain Ha - yeah, I do eat eventually - it's just if I get super horny sometimes I just won't eat. Which seems weird to me. I was hoping there was some kind of biological reason that someone here would know about. I am reminded of the mammalian diving reflex. When a mammal's face is covered by cold water the animal automatically slows its heart rate and lowers air usage. Another reflex is the human refractory period, where after orgasm the human cannot orgasm again and stimulation becomes uncomfortable, painful, or even ticklish. (Tickling is another reflex all together). Almost all men have this reflex. Women with this reflex tend to experience it as hypersensitivity in the clitoris. Some women do not have a refractory period, which correlates highly with multiple orgasms. The scientific name for this phenomena is "lucky broad." I would wager that after sex Searain does not need to stop for a few minutes. If you continue to feed your lust for pleasure, the flood of dopamine (the chemical that makes love and chocolate feel so right) continues. The body stores dopamine in comparatively high amounts, so using orgasms to release more than the body can process leaves a reserve to deal with. Ergo, hunger is not felt until long after sex ends. If this is the case, Searain would be hungry after a quickie sooner than after a long, grueling, multi-orgasmic sex marathon. The post coital refractory period, which Searain may refuse to/be unable to incite is when dopamine begins to subside and it is replaced by serotonin (the gluttony chemical of the mind, giving us a satiated warm fuzzy sensation). There is a less attractive answer. You might be a legitimate nymphomaniac. Commonly nymphomaniacs do not enjoy sex, they say it fulfills a craving and gets them back to normal. Much the same way heroin abusers no longer "get high" but try to "get well." If you're using sex because you feel weak, anxious, depressed without it, then you might want to seek professional psychiatric help. Most likely, you're a fit young gal who enjoys the reward of physical pleasure more than the reward of eating (arguably another physical pleasure).
