ORIGINAL: tazzygirl He wont get the pipeline done on day one. Here is the funny part. So many here have castigated Obama for promises not upheld.... myself including. Yet so many are willing to jump onto the bandwagon of a man who is making even more insane promises because it sounds good. He didn't say he was going to complete it on his first day, did he? Didn't he say he was going to approve it? He said he was going to issue an Executive Order repealing Obamacare. He'll have 2-1/2 months to get that thing written up and signed between the election and inauguration. That will get done on Day 1. And, tax cuts? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2012/05/18/romney_previews_first_day_in_office_in_new_ad.html 1. Approve Keystone Pipeline. 2. Begin working to repeal Obamacare. 3. Introduce tax cuts. Now, which of those 3 things can't be done on Day 1? You stated you've been critical of Obama over his lack of follow through with his promises over 3-1/2 years, but won't even consider a guy doing in 24 hours those 3 things?!? I don't know where I heard about the EO, but I know I did. And, if that's the case, #1 and #2 can be done as part of his inauguration ceremony. Hell, he could even get #3 in there, too, but I can see that as not happening. I think that would be better after inauguration anyway.
