Kind of like it, Lucifyre, but the hooks hang underneath. If I can figure out how to resize the pic, I'll get it up.

email it to me, and I can resize it later (after I go to work, probably - I really SHOULD be still sleeping right now..)

Master has a garage full of tools. He made his own cocobolo wood paddle. I hate that fucking thing.

Greetings

Thank you for the information, so the thread was taken out by anti troll spray. :P

I have a 20+ year old brown belt which has a multitude of uses. It's heavy and thuddy and the balance is such that I can hit a nipple from 3 different directions in just over a second without smacking the breast. It can also double as a leash and be used for breath play, etc but my favorite use for it is to flog the pussy and inner thighs of a sweet sub as she is lying on her back being throat fucked.

Oh my my, now I want a old belt to, or rather I want Aswad to have one. :P

Be Well

Be aware, cocobolo is an oily wood and some people have an evil reaction to it. I'm talking in breaking out in hives and shit here. If it's properly sealed and finished it shouldn't be a problem, but the problem is finishing something as oily as cocobolo. If it's wiped down rapidly with alcohol, and then finished with a varathane based finish, blended with a small amount of Japan Drier, the finish will set and harden before the oils seep back to the surface. Five or six coats and it should be safe (?) to use on anybody, not causing any pain or discomfort that's not intended! Muahahahahahah!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: BDSM on a budget (8/27/2012 8:43:47 PM)

My cocobola piece is heavily sealed!

Men love wooden things. I rarely use them, to me, they lack finesse. But the free paint stirrers you can get at the hardware, for the industrial sized paint cans? Yep.

Most rubber coated wires make decent single tails.

Cat5 network cable at any computer store. Four pairs of thin, rubber insulated wires inside a plastic sheath. Most places will cut it to length for you, or you can pick up the ones with pieces on the ends and just cut those off. The sheath comes free easily if you want to avoid using the wires inside, and the wires are easy to braid in addition to being loosely wound in pairs to begin with. Also comes in drums of 100m (on the order of 300ft or so) for about $30 or so, if you're going to do a group buy in the local scene.

There are a few ideas for hoods, but I'm afraid that my advice will end in asphyxiation, so we'll skip those.

Gypsum plaster or paper maché comes to mind for the face region. Breathing is the easy part. The hard part is getting the damn thing to be solid in place, yet possible to get on and off. If you have a bit of wood on hand, a box may be easier. Aviator thingy from a garage sale or thrift store or something?

Arrow and golf club shafts can be bought fairly cheap, and are probably better than $0.75 decorative bamboo rods.

A riding crop is like $2 here, and it doesn't break easy.

Rope is cheap and the education to make it sexy and powerful can be free. A must-do for the impoverished and wealthy alike.

DealExtreme is the place to go for crazy cheap and ultra varied stuff, whereas IG is more suspect (e.g. $5 for an O-ring gag that won't fit any cock not out of Asia, if y'all will pardon the stereotyped joke). And if you need some strong rope, the "paracord" is $7 or so for a bundle at DX, hold about 300lbs.

More to the point, DX has the stuff you need to make new stuff, cheap.

IWYW,

I guess that as with any product of nature one should do a patch test if one's body is going to get into contact with natural oils to see if one get an allergic reaction to it, just as you would if you do aromatherapy treatments with new oils.

I wish you well

You know you are just evil sometimes. :O

I second the advice to shop on deal extreme though, they have allot of equipment cheap, whips, sex toys you name it and while some of it have dubious quality some of what Deal Extreme sells is great. As for crafting supplies I recommend ebay, you can easily find what you need to make almost anything there for a few dollars.

One more crafting project which I cheap and easy to do that I saw somewhere was to get a rubber dog ball, your choice in size. Put the ball in a vice and drill a hole in it. Put a rope through that hole and you have a ball gag for a few dollars. Also if you want allot of sound and a real good thud sound but not much pain then you can take a 1,5 liter soda bottle and cover it with duct tape, make a handle on the thin end and you will have something that looks like a club and give a loud smacking sound but which will not cause any pain, just if you want the play part but not the pain.

I wish you well

Underbed restraints. Rope with loops tied in the ends, as many tie up points as you like. I like two on all sides of the mattress. Leave the loops just hanging outside so they can be easily tucked away if need be. Use nylon cargo straps to go from the loops to the wrist and ankle restraints. Get the cheap pull through straps, not the ratcheting ones. They are much easier to use. This works Very well and sets up fast.

I have lots of Maple saplings every year. When they get about two years old strip the bark and sand smooth. Makes one OUCHY cane and they are very strong. I have tried to break one hitting the bed. No way.

This reminds me of the meanest mindfuck any parent ever laid on their kid and it's been going on for thousands of years.

Ours has so many coats that it glows. I still hate it.

Tractor supply has lots of stuff too. But I don't reccomend the livestock castrator kits.
