graphy.... more or less it means writing.

Huh, I thought most people would be stuck on the hagio part.

Well, guess ya learn something new every day.

LMAO Ron, you kill me.

I looked it up.  If I am unsure how to spell something, or if someone posts a word (like hagiography) that I do not know, I look it up.  I proof my posts before sending them.  I am human, and occasionally I might miss a word.

As for the rest of the thread...
I do not comment on the spelling or poor grammar of others, however.  It's just not my thing.  I will notice it, but the moment I criticize someone for something like that, I will sure enough be humbled by accidentally including a typo in my post.  I guess it's a Murphy's Law thing.

I also know English is not everyone's primary language on an international message board.  As the daughter of a foreign mother, and a dyslexic one at that (we both are, actually), I understand not all folks who speak English as a secondary (or third, or...) language have mastered all of the spelling and grammar rules and exceptions of this language.  In Spain, for example, the noun comes before the adjective.  I grew up hearing things like, "Hand me a towel paper." (Ha, maybe that's where my dyslexia came from!).

Having said all that, a few years ago I was speaking with a Dominant online who lives near me.  His writing was so difficult to read it was almost unbearable.  It became such a distraction that I could not continue our correspondence.  English was his first language. He could speak; he just never learned to write very well.

I'm just disagreeing with you, marie, not trying to goad you into anything.  I'm sorry if you feel that way.

I personally think fuck is a conjunction with many other applications as well. Do I use nasty words in everyday conversation? Fuck yes I do. Will I ever change? Fuck no. I could care fucking less if it is spelled right as long as I can make fucking heads or tails out of it. I am here looking for another tail to spank anyway, she don’t have to spell it just fucking show it.

I personally take the time to reread and spell check words i am in question on.  If i can't communicate effectively, how can i expect you to understand what i am saying?  Besides which, my mother was a school teacher and i forever have her voice echoing in my head "not Diane and me...it's Diane and I"  "You aren't going too, you are going as well"....live with that for 18 years and you might understand where i am coming from...lol

So with that in mind, if you should ever find a misspelled word or grammatical error in my post, you can be sure it was some internet glitch that occurred after i hit "ok".

Since we are human, we are proned to have different intellectual levels.  For some, however, it may be a simple as not being adept at typing.  Acceptance I think is the greatest lesson we all have to learn.  Including me.

I have no problem/spelling or grammatical mistakes unless they're throughout a persons post or profile, hell I'm not Perfect... (Did I Say That LMFKAO) I also try to read things before I post too, hell I'm My own Worst critic...
What I think is this when I see consistent grammar errors throughout a persons profile or posts is that they're ignorant or just too friggin' lazy to utilize spell check which makes them unworthy of My time.
