K, you just walked into the many splenderous world of snark way too easily. I agree with LadyHib, it's now a matter of typing politely, yet sarcasticly. Much easier to do with tone of voice... but it can be done. The Mods have given us our parameters, now it is up to us to live up to the word of those rules, yet find a way to subvert the spirit of them when called to... personally I like the term "cupcake" as a term of welcoming endearment. Though I am certain that now I will need to find another one.

As for the rest of the forums, very rarely do I get drawn into personal attacks... and the one time that I sincerely have was last night and though I tried to start polite, the other party kept pulling me into it. Though I did reply, it was a struggle not to go nuclear on what I saw as provocation... instead I reported the personal attacks and attempted to stay away. It was resolved by the Mods. I still would have liked to have honestly replied but I attempted to.play by the rules... not always an easy feat for me.

I will agree with Kana again, dammit, though I do not always agree with the mods, I have found them usually reasonable to deal with. Well, that as well as one who keeps sending me love letters when I respond to certain types of threads, even though I try to play nice. In that case though, I think the mod is just flirting...laughing my irreverent yet unassuming and gentle ass off.

If you said something particularly brilliant.

Are you suggesting that some things we post aren't particularly brilliant

First of all, young Skywalker, everything I post is brilliant.

Secondly, I'm promising you; some of my best stuff has gotten pulled (but, not because I quoted someone else who got pulled).

I guess, if I take the name out, I could repeat one of the better ones ... Nah. I won't play with fire, today.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

I don't think "love" is the four-letter word I would use to describe the letters I send to you.

When I first came here in 2005, I got into it with Moderators ONE and THREE. Yeah. Why? Over a censorship issue. I was not the one being censored, either, it was a person whose posts were not in line with the personal feelings of the moderator. It was great. I got snide remarks aimed at me on the boards, nastygrams to my private email address, my posts were on moderation for WEEKS, no explanation. I finally came up with my sock account so I could come on the boards and say, Listen, just ban me already. And thus LadyHibiscus was born, and allowed to post.

Mod XI? A cupcake. Of course, she and I always got along great.

Anyway, the origins of the SHUTUPHIB filter go back that far. Much as I have hate for Fetl, it's good to be able to go there and say anything at all.

Heh,

remain between you and me...

aswell as every movie... of star trek

Oh dearest 21, another has overtaken you with the frequency of gold bordered letters... fair as yours might be, hers are more numerous. I also don't "love" would be the term she would use either...

I do love 21, but when I see gold letters I do use a different word, lol. It almost has me scared to log on,lol. It's alright though. I will say that I do deserve most of the ones I get, I just think maybe they will have mercy or be too tired to deal with My shit, lol.

Ron, I like that song by the way. Thanks!!

say what you want to say in the way you want to say it.
Most of the fun threads get pulled or mangled by the mods
If 21 or any of the others don't like it then fuck off somewhere else until a more open minded mod shows up.
This place needs a section where people can really let rip, remember if one cunt or an other fucks you off just hide them.

Simple
