Arturas -> MSNBC seems to have lost the convention audio. (8/28/2012 2:23:46 PM)

I was watching the very popular Arizona Gov. casting her state's votes for you know who on Fox and decided to jump over to MSNBC to see how they are taking to all that applause for her and was amazed to see they were playing a commercial instead and coming back just as she finished.

Then I sat in amazment as I realized they had also turned down the convention sound to an almost non-existant level and one hundred percent of the time talked over the speaker and the convention with pure poison dripping from their words. I thought to myself, "self, why are they even showing the convention if they mute the sound and replace it with a full court snark attack to make the biggest snark here on the good ole CM forums very proud?

Then I remembered the inverse law of snarkiness. The more snark the more desperate they are. I then turned off the set and put on a good Bruce Willis movie, "Red". I had ceased to worry about the state of things.

It is clear we will win. All of U.S.

You might want to catch the movie, 'The Desperate Hours'.  And consider the legality of the tax in the PPACA simultaneously.

BTW, you may be the only person in the world watches msnbc.

Is there anything more pointless than listening to the puffery of 50 odd nobodies extolling the virtues of the states/territories they reside in while casting votes that mean exactly nothing?

And is it any wonder that a company owned by Microsoft is having technical difficulties?

Or Bruce Willis.

I have to admit that that is one of the more unique methods I've heard of to project the election winner.

I sorta "monitor" it via a sampling process that is painful at times. Unfortunately MSNBC ratings exceed CNN which is a decent news channel.

That hurts. Especially since he's my hero and he looks like me.

I think it is as good as any based on a recent poll.

That's why it's on Fox, you know. It's right down there with WWE wrestling and Survivors.

Hey danew, Is that why FOX has the 12 top rated cable news shows out of 30 ?

FR

CSPAN, and the DVR, are magnificent inventions.

Why would you give a crap about 'Ratings" Are you trying to be Bobby Trendy?

Watch what you like. If you watch something else and it isnt to your standard, don't whine.

I'd watch MSNBC only to see Maddow stroke out with all of that pent up rage. Why is she even in Tampa? No one on MSNBC cares about the GOP convention.

You have a very fucked up way of making new friends. If it's any comfort to you, you just described how Fox covered the democratic convention over several election cycles before I gave up even trying to watch their coverage.
Anyway, that's quite a conspiracy you got there... Needs Greylians though.

Somebody's gotta add the laugh tracks.

That's because they have cornered the knuckle-dragger segment, of course. Even beyond their shameless propaganda, their 'entertainment' is strictly low-brow.

WARNING: Massive hijack

I have always been amazed when I contrast the brilliance of the engineering behind television, and the crap that is broadcast over it. And right now, the engineering is taken for granted and the content is where all the money and action is.

End hijack

Rage? Are you sure you haven't confused Maddow with Hannity or O'Reilley?

I thought it significant that in Chris Christie's so-called keynote speech, he didn't mention Romney once.

So the central theme of this convention is not Romney, or his suitability to be President?
