There was a thread here about Breivik and his incident in Oslo. I asked a question about Norwegian law and now the whole thread is gone. What happened ?

If things just disappear all the time I don't see the reason in participating here.

Is it possible that I am just not savvy enought to find that thread ?

I REALLY want to know one thing about Norwegain Law, I already asked. I cannot find the thread. Help me find it becaue this is essential if you have a discussion board.

Do you ?

Signed,

Lost it somewhere.

Could it be the one about Norwegian's being nice people? Your theories about the forums are often incorrect, just like before you took a vacation.

My theory in this case was that I did not know whether a point made by someone outside the US was true or not. I asked a Question of one of your members if what someone else said was true or noty, and since he is in thaqt country he would be the best person to answer the question.

I also was not the one to start that thread.

OK now you know who I am. Fukit.

Keep an eye on that mailbox Gamma, and it ain't coming from me. It'll be from your boss.

I WANT THAT THREAD BACK. One of the really goddam coherent (mostly) threads on here about something that really DOES matter. I AM PISSED AND I HAVE DONE A RUNAROUND YOU.

I WANT THAT FUCKING THREAD BACK NOW OR ELSE.

Or else? It couldn't be "or else I'll have a hissy fit" because it looks like you just had one.

I often have problems searching by keyword, but searching by using by username works quite well. Sometimes I am too prolific to efficiently search by my own username, so I search by others who I know were in the thread, in this case, you and Aswad.

I think you are refering to your post here: An independent inquiry (22/7), which is the last post on the thread, but your question is also addressed here:

What gentle people you Norwegians must be.

When I can't find a post after making a valiant effort to find it, I've PM'd other users for help. Poise is quite good finding posts outside P&R. I'm pretty good within P&R - feel free to ask me for help next time.

Your sock had me completely fooled, T.

Yeah, I'm going to get gold mail for being off topic in P&R but I'm going to say it anyway.

Hey, Term. You need to back the truck up. Instead of empty threats ('cause, I mean, what the hell are you really going to do on a message board, anyway?) why not just make a request on the other side? I don't know jack about the thread you are referring to, but have you even given Gamma or Alpha a shot about this matter with some courtesy? No, I'm not perfect about this shit, either. Hell I've argued with both TwentyOne and Gamma in the past week but I didn't do it under the guise of being an asshole. Seriously, you don't have to do that. A little courtesy really does go a long way with both other members and Mods.

Like I said, yes, I'm going to get some gold mail over this, but it's how I see it.

No snark intended, I was trying to be helpful as to which thread it may be.

I'm still trying to find out where it says you cant start a new thread on an old subject in the TOS.

Ive read it 3 times with all the addenda and still can't find it. It appears that people are being threatened with moderation over an "Unwritten Tradition".

I checked more this time, and do not see the post you are speaking of. I even checked the very few topics that have been pulled due to violations and I find nothing.

P.S. Decided to try a different keyword and found this http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=4208349

The thread is not gone.

This is likely the post: http://www.collarchat.com/m_4205629/mpage_2/key_/tm.htm#4223842 ,

and your answer is contained within the What gentle people you Norwegians must be thread kalikshama pointed you (the OP in case I used FR) to.

Edit: clarity

LP, I read every link that was included in the naughty letter that they sent me.
It wasn't there. I then went looking around on my own. Couldn't find it.
My request for clarification has been sitting unopened since 8-22 at 11:40 PM EDT.

Who says you cannot start a new thread on an old topic? Unless you're trying to restart a thread that was closed, which we don't allow... otherwise, what would be the point in closing it at all?
