I have seen videos of newborn circumcision and I am stunned anyone would try to claim the baby does not feel it. It is obvious by his frantic screaming he feels it. Newborns scream when the silver nitrate is placed into their eyes. They scream when the heel stick is done. Some will scream when the umbilical cord is cut. Lets not discuss the screams from their first shots. Parents are protected from all those assaults... and so is the public. And if you cant stand up to the "pressure to cut", then why are you having children to begin with?

The trauma I may have felt being circumcised pales in comparison to all the shit that has happened since I was circumcised... Yea, i'm over it...let's move on.

The Op is also out of date. All the main political parties have voted to introduce a law allowing circumcision for Religious reasons back in July.

that sounds like virgin talk! Newsflash, condoms are not 100% and neither are promises of fidelity. Even if it's rare for him to get PENIS CANCER, he's very likely to pass his cervical-cancer-causing virus to some less vigilant or informed partner, i.e., neverever me. So if a minor operation he'd never remember as an infant could have prevented his picking up venereal warts from his slutty ex- on a kibbutz, doncha think it would have been worth it?

And you might add that, at least for mine, they injected lidocaine(sp?) and used those sweeties, they can't feel pain and taste sweet at the same time or something. But I wouldnt rule out that some places could have asked repeatedly, or had long discussions if a mother refused. I was simply giving her the benefit of a doubt on that one.

Just all the team being on the same page and getting the correct paperwork and such done. They did not want to make a mistake about what we wanted. Keep in mind that Roscoe spent several weeks in the NICU and scheduling stuff can get weird because you do not know exactly when you will take your baby home. Unlike a regular birth. Just like I was asked more than once about having my tubes tied.

However, you are correct in that it is better to ask a million times than to get the answer wrong once.

I suspect your thinking of trimming the pubic hair which makes more of the penis visible, thus giving the impression that it's bigger.

I think we should stick to the condoms to prevent the spread of HIV rather than listening to members of the catholic occult which seem to be provoking a ridiculous debate about circumcision being a viable alternative. You'll end up with blood on your hands if you continue this silliness. People might actually listen to you. As soon as that isolated study was produced I knew some would grab at it with both hands.
