Psycho went home yesterday afternoon, with a plan to join me and some other kinksters that evening for a drink. He promptly went incommunicado. It turns out, he fell asleep and didn't wake up until after eleven. This is the man who claims he has insomnia, the big fat liar.

It's just as well that he's adorable. DATING FAIL.

Console me with tales of dates gone wrong. I have THE BEST weird date story EVER, too, but that's not for now.

If you two don't go on dates, do you just skip to the sex?

What constitutes a date? Because I may or may not have done that. Mostly not, I suspect.

Oh, okay. I have done that a good half-dozen times!! It was okay. No real disasters, just the odd bit of boredom.

One guy I was doing a meet and greet with at our local microbrewery... which is very good. He drank more beer in an hour than I do in a year, for srs. I can't drink the microbrew stuff, it's an asthma attack in a glass. That I was ALLERGIC TO BEER just blew him away. Biggest tragedy imaginable.

I was on a date years ago where the man told me that his 20 year marriage had broken up because his wife told him she had been faking her orgasms the whole time. On a first date. Essentially telling me he couldn't satisfy a woman. He sent me a string of abusive emails after i told him it was going no further.

I have never faked an orgasm EVER. Why would I bother?

Good heavens.

that's pretty much it lol

we do go out, but we are already together when we do. there has never been that thing where a guy has asked if he can take me on a date, you get dressed up, meet somewhere, go for a meal, he pays, and all the shizzle.

we just stay at each others place, we go out casually, sometimes i pay, sometimes he pays, either way we usually have a debate about who is paying. he has been known to threaten to walk like a monkey if i didn't let he pay. i just laughed, and told him to crack on walking like a money. he's learnt that doesn't work lol

me neither Hibbie. it's counter productive as i see it. if i fake it and the guy thinks he's great i'm always going to get crap sex. nope that wouldn't do.

i'm lucky that i never have to though very satisfied girlie me.

Oh I've had bad dates. The worse? The guy from NO who seemed nice and cute but who showed up for our dinner date dirty and smelly, then was so nervous that he drank until he passed out at the table and left me with the check. When I ask the waiter what to do with him (I didn't just want to leave him there), he said no biggie, and they carried him to the back to sleep it off. Evidently he'd done it before -- often.

Now don't tell me I can't pick them !!

And I've never faked an orgasm either, to be that's *contributing* to males being lousy lovers. If they don't know they're doing it wrong, how can they get better?

Wow. That has never ever happened to me. Maybe because I avoid dating?

It would be ridiculous to fake an orgasm. If I don't get off, they know it. I am not shy!

Sex?
Does that include all the dirty, hitty, bitie & kinky stuff?
then... yes. That first.

However, we have been know to venture out for that too. Does that constitute a date?

Regarding the word "date", I'm not actually sure it's even been in our vocabulary over here (United Kingdom, for those unaware) for very long!!!
Apart from those horrid xmas things, you knopw the ones - huge rat turds in a tiny boat.

And I've decided I shall never walk like a monkey.
I shall move like a paralellagram.

Sorry, I've just realised this thread is titled "Dating Fails" and not "Dieting Fails". Carry on.

I lived in NO then, so I was 22, maybe 23....I have youth and inexperience as an excuse !!

And I did pick them for shallow reasons. Let's see, you have a great body, you like the same kind of music I do, you like to dance, and we smoke the same brand of cigarettes. Ah, young lust.

ETA: I've not always been a great date either. Once I was walking along with someone (again in NO), who I thought was nice, he took off his outer shirt and I saw he has a tattoo, and I walked away, no real explanation. Just "Sorry, this won't work out."

No one could confuse me with being overly deep back then.
