Nations have always taken land....it's been done for time immemorial.

Only North America (Canada included) has given status and declarations of sovereignty to those they (purportedly) "stole" from.

Nope.

Didn't say it was fair....I said it was a fact.

History is written by the winners and the North Americans are the only ones in history that have offered granted license to those they conquered.

I'd say that's a fairly amazing thing in history, all things considered.

(And by the way...it's not "Historical nonsense"...it's historical fact).

Whether it was "fair" is really immaterial....it was light years more advantageous than any other govt. has ever offered in all of recorded history.

Secondly, many conquering nations could only keep control by cutting deals with the local populace. The British, Romans, Muslims, persians all did this, to name but a few.

Nooo, it wasn't about concern. I am sure the SS will take care of things.

It was more about... why is she still a delegate, why was she not removed, why didn't some prominent person in the DNC call her out < so to speak >. My comments about the decision against Obama's death threat were more editorial. As in.... if this woman IS a true threat the SS will have a harder time, as they will with any threat against a public figure.

As I said in an earlier post: Mark Alan Seigal was called out by some prominent Dems about his disgusting tirade and they called on him to resign, He did not but he took a leave of absence. He is a DNC delegate and Fla. Dem. Chairman. I don't get why this woman was allowed to keep her delegate status. I don't think anyone can really answer that... it's just sad the state of affairs in politics and the hatred and ugliness on all sides.
