It appears to be productive enough, it is garnering far more attention than anything Willard said at his princess ball.

Too bad they can't get a redo of the closer. Romney and Ryan standing side by side giving each other a reach-back to squeeze some cheek and Angella "two-packs-a-day" Lansbury singing "Beauty and The Beast" deuring a black balloon drop.

Could he ... Could he have possibly ... possibly repeated ... repeated himself ... repeated himself more ... repeated himself more than he ... than he did?

Actually, I believe the teleprompter might have been getting hung up.

Two things struck me:

1) Through most of the speech, in public, the president was "Barack"

2) At the end of the speech, "God bless you. God bless the troops. God bless you all". Are we to infer that he has also attended a reverend Wright sermon or three? Traditionally, national candidates say "God bless America" and I get it, if people are atheist/agnostic, they should just say something because it's de rigeur but, it almost seemed like he went out of his way to NOT bless America. That kind of stuck in my craw.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Looks like it wouldn't have taken much to sway you!

I was comforted and pleased when the Vice President spoke about getting bin-laden.

Pointing out that it wasn`t just the right thing to do and a huge win in the war on terror but that it`s much much more than that, that it`s helped millions of Americans start to heal from that horrible day.

He may have gotten choked up about it,speaking from his heart and repeated himself a bit but it needs to be and should be repeated.

Only a complete douche-bag would mock the man for feeling that way.
