Honestly, if you are going for condoms that work without being horrid - try polyurathane. That's what we have to use because I'm allergic to latex, and for the record, neither of us could tell that he had one on (seriously, he had to check a time or two to make sure it was still on). They are thin, durable (relatively, of course - but we haven't busted one yet, and we aren't exactly gentle), and they do protect against STDs about as well as latex, going by the last research that I found. The only issue is that they aren't as stretchy as latex, so they don't fit everyone ...
